Spent 60 backing up a few horses I did not have like 12 and #6

Number #9 looks great on the track and has Luc Roy driving dropping down so like the combos!!

Shit... #9 broke because Pat Hudon wouldn't let him in and was hung.

#2 won...have only a $25 win bet but will make profit at 9-2

Saturday March 26th Mohawk track + wind:

Wind going to be strong and cool wind > 28 km with 41 Gust from West and NW through the PICK5

Front runners/horses that can move with first half flow to 3/4 do well but I would put a strong closer that you like as well since they take 1-2 races and kill the frontrunners with crazy fractions OR, go too slow and leave the back 5 horses bunched to the lead on the last turn and then anything can happen down the long lane

Did not play....family issue.

See ya Monday....I retire end of next week. Can't wait to have more time to cap. I am deadly when that happens haha

No Mohawk until Friday.

Decent for SATURDAY NIGHT > had to rush as I was expected at a friends place watching basketball (my team is Villanova!) so I didn't post in time but quickly put together a play in about 20 minutes of capping..

Starting with Meadowlands tonight....like the card! and 1st Pick5

Weather > 12 C or about 53F...horses love this temperature 

-strong wind from the west 

-they leave with wind roughly at their back...horses come off the gate from a NW angle heading to the turn so any speed battle those horses will have to clear into the wind 

-any first over move in the back stretch is into the wind but if covered up, you should be fine 2nd or 3rd over

- I like front end horses on the inside and the occasional outside horse but not the 10 - hole unless this year they staggered their gate like Mohawk...this is my first meet cap of the season..I really like Meadowlands late winter and through the spring, occasionally in the fall if not wet

Race 1: - Gingras /Burke combo on the outside in the #9 hole...horse has speed but also Gingras knows how to rate a horse in this wind

-have to put in #2 and #4 as well.......my longshot is #1 but doing a $1 exactor with the other 3 instead of putting in PICK5

TAKE: 249 > also do $1 exactor  1/ 249

Race 2: - any horse that wins two Qualis in a row to start the season and closes fast mean the horse can shave 3-4 seconds at first asking...also, held off Ideation Hanover who was a Grand Circuit horse and beat it in 2nd quali

-love  #4 ....should win as a key, but this is Meadowlands and sometimes horses get trips and use last long stretch effectively

-if driver change on #7, take 47 only ....but think #3 and #6 have a good shot to win

TAKE:  3467 > unless professional driver switch onto #7 then take only #4, 7

Race 3: only ones with a shot are 2356  > maybe the outside horses 789 > even #10 with a speed battle

-gonna do a PICK3 in the 2nd race and take 236 / the mentioned 8 horses above /

Race 4: really like #1 the best....speed...inside....and #8 has a wicked closing kick and is ready to fly.

Good looking card tonight ....light winds...potential poor track condition...rain and wet snow

Race 1 - really like 7 9 a lot and have great drivers, especially on trotters!....but would not be surprised if #6 or #8 wins as this is first time trotters

Race 2 - 145678 > really like 178 the best and would not be shocked if #2 or #9 win....

Race 3 - like 145 best > sneaky race where they may screw around so taking ALL is not a bad move in a pick3 starting first race with 79 / ALL / ALL

Race 4 - tough race > TAKE to cover your bases > 12456789 > like best > 1, 4 or 9  ...Sylvain to Luc Roy driver change has been hitting well since the fall ....Dark Moves has looked ready in post parade and on the gate the last 2 races!

Race 5 - 2 horse race for Pick5 between  2 and 4 and like #4 better as Whelan's are trying this year to win every race

BU Pick3 in 3rd race will have 3,5,6. 8.9,10

Ahhh...farting around....shoulda left #4 in the second race but I always like first race of the season horses if they are expensively bought as a yearling or well bred...good trainer

Very Windy SW wind about 20-30 mph in the face of horses leaving on the first turn if they are hung, they will be stung!

1ST over on the last turn will work >> JMAC is the best at this! He will have a big night if his horse is live

>>McNair and Luc Roy are good with wind...I start to fade Sylvain and Henry in warm weather but they are dangerous if on a live horse and coming with a closing kick

Race 1 > #1 is going to be hard to beat but there is another inside posts candidate and 2 horses that have a shot at upsetting!

#3 - massive driver change > son Bax driving for dad to DOUG MCNAIR ...all BAX horses are good stock and live always!

UPSET > look out for this horse and could win at first asking #9 > Rene Dion horse are always great and check out the qualifier with the trainer !!

Take for Pick5: 139 > do second ticket KEYING #1

Race 2: - TAKE > 2567  ....BUT I would put in #348 on a second ticket KEYING #1 in the first race 

#7 opened FAVOURITE last race with 4 other stud horses so beware.....I will bet this horse in exotics for sure...love this race for exotic plays 

Race 3: just need 34 > but, I will do a Pick3 in Race 1 including #6 ....if this horse can stay flat for a bunch of races, he will be beating these other horses just on his breeding alone and McClure is dynamite on young trotters!

Race 4:  just need 269 > upset potential doing a pick3 in race 2 > 357 ....would consider #8 but I think McNair will burn the horse over 3/4 and the others will take over....the is Century Gigalos modus operandi...he is better in cool weather anyway

Race 5: #4 KEY!! JMAC dropping down from NW races where he won one race and with much much better horses!!

-putting in #8 which is a first time Moreau claim and is the only horse I think that in form, could beat #4
