Tuesday Value Angles:
Race 3: - rubbing my hands together as I see two horses that should surprise and WIN or one of them will be 2ND or 3RD
#1 - BEATON horses show nothing in the qualifiers as new horses and then pop at 10 to 30-1 first time....its happened a few times and the fact that Trevor now drives after a sneaky race at Grand River over Anthony Haughan means this horse is ready to go 1.55 and lower with Trevor now! Trevor 1st on a horse has been money, especially if the horse is close to ready
#5 - was on this horse LadySmith last week but was infuriarated by the interference and lack of initiative getting on the gate which tells me with McClure at the helm and having a second middle gate position, he will not spoil it like Chris did and will blast into the top 2-4 position and maybe the lead....look carefully at its qualifiers and breeding...this horse is gonna be under appreciated by its first result but not by me!
Suggestions:
$1 Exactor 15 with 234678 = $12
40 cent triactor > 48 / 15 / 123456789 = $20 approx
$2 triactor > 48 /48 / 15 = $8
1 Exactor > 27 / 15 = $4
40 cent super > 48 / 2367 /48 / 15 = $6.40
20 cent super > 48 / 267 / 15 / 12345678 = $14.40

@DoubleUp4Life
Yes bro
Finally connecting....awesome
I did play a small Pick5 tonight >> punched this ticket 2x:
Jul 05, 2022
7:10 PM Bet 15225803695743 Woodbine SB, Race 1, $0.20 PK5 2 / 3,5,6 / 4,5,8 / 1,5,9 / 2,6-8 $21.60
They tried to screw around in that second trot race.....I think race #3 is a crapshoot and gonna play the angles post I just made trying to hit a good cashout. I am betting a little heavier tonight because I hit about $300 in Proline so gonna ride the hot capping or BURN A HOLE IN MY POCKET haha...that has happened too much!
Have you been to Crystal Beach yet? Weather has been bomb here....retired and enjoying our backyard and the weather here in T.O.
Let me know if you want to come up for a drive and hangout....anytime!

Looking at the Thursday Card for Mohawk tonight and LOVE IT!! ....lots of young horses, good trainers and connections and interesting qualifiers, in addition to a lot of hometown entries from Arthur where I learned the whole harness racing game and how to gamble....plus some late night poker haha
It will be a nice PICK5 in my opinion....better than $200 payout

Digging the ode to spaghetti westerns and one of my faves Clint!!
Gran Torino was a great recent movie and of course Unforgiven as another modern one. I still watch any spaghetti western when they appear on a Saturday and the last one was Hang Em High

Watching all June 25 qualifying races this afternoon, that relate to the Pick5 tonight.....some things definitely I see and stand out to me!
Race #2 > #3 Murray's watching was MEH!! ....BUT ....
Phil Hudon on the #6 showed a nice pace and the last stretch action is deceiving as he angled him out and had his head bent or locked on a line and if straight, might have caught the leader
Race #3 > Twin B Showmance looks like a KEY ....raced to the lead OUT OF THE #1 hole easily and then had real nice head sway down the lane and was nice and straight which is what you want to see in a trotter
*** Look out for SOUTHWIND COORS #3 ....had Matt Bax driving and really nice form....stayed 5th but then moved the horse late and it responded real well...and also had its head bent or locked on a line but coming with TROT....
-saw #6 race and the horse was good, not great...came late and passed tired horses but stayed back most of its race
-saw #8 race and McClure kept the horse way back on purpose but at the half, came flying to finish strongly but the horse looked green down the lane with head all over the place....was still impressed with back half
RACE #4
-#5 Santana Hanover tried to challenge leader down the lane in quali but could not pass....it mostly stayed back the whole quali and raced ok
#7 Boomtown Boy impressed in back half and down the lane in his qualifier...BEWARE this horse
RACE #5
-saw 4.5,8.9 in various qualifiers but was not left with a wow impression
#1 >>> wow ....came at Stockade Seelster which is a much talked about 2 yr old that JMAC drove in the quali and pulled away when #1 tried to pass it....so I give props to this #1 THE MOMENT AROSE....looked good, just got beat by a likely GRAND CIRCUIT horse in 154 and change

Mohawk Thursday night: - nice sunny day with a breeze but dying out to light winds by race time
RACE#1- 23457
-I fully expect #5 to get to the front and likely #2 in the 2nd or 3rd spot.......RADIO LAB cannot get to the front as the horse is lazy off the gate despite an aggressive 1st Q driver in Hensley
-the x-factor is #3 and #7 horse.....why would JMAC not take #3 who was racing against most of the best ONT. 2yr olds last year....yes, Brad Maxwell trotters can win first time as he trains them well but would rather
#3 had a quali vs a grand circuit filly in Mischievous Rose and was right there in 159!
My head says take only 3 horses..... 237.....my heart says take all 5 just in case they decide to give Radio Lab or Barroom Brawl Boys a middle of the gate sendoff to wire this field all of a sudden
TAKING all 5 horses!
Race #2
-definitely taking #2 winning a qualifier in 1.59 into a 2 second headwind first time on the track...wow! Note, it was a very conservative driver at the helm steering the horse around the 3 turns.... Very well bred too
-you can definitely put #8 and #9 in there as well, because both had back halfs of 1'55 and both very well bred with excellent drivers
- I was impressed watching qualifiers with #6 who gets a middle of the gate and will move to lead or 2- hole most likely
-#5 moved well off the gate and has Jodi who knows how to press the buttons of young horses VERY WELL
- can a case be made for even #1? I think the horse could surprise
DECISION TIME:
TAKE 6 horses or 4-5 horses?
125689 or 2589
Race #3
LOVE #1,3 >>> both competed for 1st or 2nd with closing times of young trotters in 28'+ which is amazing
- can make a case for #7, kicking off A-Mac and putting on a much better trot driver!
Should put in? > #5. 6, 8 .....would much rather put in a PICK3 starting in Race #1 with 4 horses leaving out Radio Lab
TAKE 137 for Pick5

Race #4
4578 ....can make a case for all of them winning, but probably only need #5 and #8...........longshots are #2 and #10
-reason to leave 4 and 7 out are traffic flow and with #5 already showing gate speed and #8 likely to leave for position in a 2nd race with its 54'+ half, are the two scary horses
Race #5
- I am comfortable KEYING #1 after watching that qualifer....gave STOCKADE SEELSTER a real good race from the top of the stretch
-MAYBE 23 and 10, although #10 does not have the speed to win hear off the gate ......#4 is a maybe
PLAYING TWO TICKETS for sure!

I'm pissed we're never here on the same nights ...
Busy summer from here on out with the kids soccer tournaments...
Would love to come up to Crystal Beach sometime...Haven't been there in at least 15 years ...So many memories at the beach and the amusement park that was shut down....really appreciate the offer
I'll be betting Saturday night ..
Best of luck Brother, hope all is well

Saturday Capping for Pick5 (reverse order)
Race 5:
#1 Contender = Mappos Lion!!
....gap in my rankings means I think the horse is a key....
#2 Cadillac Bayama
#3 Enavant >> if Sylvain and McClure can't figure this horse out, inexperienced Samuel will not !!! > especially vs Mappos who right now is racing like last year so you ride this horse for the next while!
#4 Greek Freak >> with right trip could sneak up rail and win
SHOCKER POTENTIAL: #9 Commanding Officer
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Race 4:
#1 Contender - Dynamite's Peak #2 >> this horse is very close to being ready to dominate and putting an aggressive driver on this one is exactly what the horse needs! McClure to Luc Roy is an awesome driver change as McClure tends to wait too long, Luc won't ....this horse was awesome last year...a fave of mine
#2 Contender - Cheeto #1 >> lets see how this horse handles getting away 3rd or 4th off the rail but might surprise and get the 2 hole ...horse has great upside with closing in .27 on the engine
#3 Kaporal #10 >> have a funny feeling this horse can do 151 with Sylvain and the right trip....supremely bred, great connections and Sylvain is sneaky with horses like this because other drivers don't assume he will be aggressive
MAYBE > #5 Coligny Hanover....was thought of last year as a GRAND CIRCUIT horse and just needs an aggressive drive and with JMAC in the middle, I cannot leave this horse out
SHOCKER POTENTIAL >> #3,4,6
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Race 3:
#1 Contender >>> BOTH #5 B Stoney and #7 Sintra
-I am expecting a speed battle between Noch Ten and B Stoney.....if there isn't one, then B Stoney should romp unless JMAC sneaks one on Trevor around the final turn and the horse pukes in final eight
-REMEMBER > 5 horses are moving up in this class to topple Sintra an B Stoney who have had to contend with drops in class for the last so many races.....now, Sintra needs speed to be effective and just might get that race with NOCH TEN in the race because Drury found out HIS horse that he has a piece of, runs best on the engine
-SINTRA works best on the helmet 2nd or 3rd over so I bet Jodi follows with Noch Ten first over or Grand Poobah first over or both and could catch B Stoney if we get a 54 ' and change half......see why Sintra is not winning? He is not getting those fast front halfs and is NOT GOOD first over so horses on the front end are slowing down the 2nd Q times to give them a chance
#2 MAYBE > Grand Poobah #4 ...have never seen JMAC race this horse and it might be ready for a great trip and well timed 1st over trip that JMAC seems to achieve on tired front end horses...

Race 2:
#1 Contender > BOTH #1 Stockade Seelster and #5 Moment Is Here
-saw the Stockade /Moment Arose qualifier battle and SS found another gear with a tap from JMAC and pulled away easily in such an impressive manner....the horse it beat won its first race by 8 LENGTHS on Thursday night!
#2nd best BEWARE!! > this is exactly the kind of race where you just might see one of these 3 capable horses taking advantage of a trip or speed battle between the top 2 contenders above.....Mohawk drivers have been doing this all spring and summer....then again, they are going for $100 000+ here?
-#7 had an incredible 2nd qualifier in the slop and then showed how powerful and fast this horse is in its first race....3 wide into the first time, comes out first over a second move and still comes home in 28 flat on a 5/8 track = MONSTER horse
-#2 and #3 both had good qualifiers and have good drivers with good trainers
THIS RACE IS TRICKY BUT love my TOP 2 CONTENDERS best
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Race 1:
#1 Contender > #6 Jabberwocky >> will get away easiest from the middle of the gate....no one here can contend that spend and if a breather, I suspect the horse will get its first win
#2 Contender > #5 Aussie Hanover >> watch for JMAC to move the horse into the Top 4 positions and then come first over in a rush vs #6 on the last turn ....this horse has shown 26 closing time 2 races in a row and JMAC will utilize that horsepower to catch #6 possibly
MAYBE:
-#3 Century Igleasias > has a great trainer and good driver of young horses but not fast enough in last Q?
-#8 Bootleg Charley > race in tougher Gold Series and with the driver change, Luc Roy is more aggressive and maybe that is what the horse needs?? I can see the horse racing in 152 tonight
