Just watched another bullshit race in the 3rd leg of the PICK4.....Arnie couldn't make the gate and PHIL HUDON made two moves and won for fun??? B.S.....look at WHISKEY BREAK's lines, not its time.....and the only way it can win on two moves is for others to co-operate....and what's worse, its a 5 horse race haha

Wind in face  but horses trying to get to the front from the outside, will get a push into the first turn

Backstretch curve will be into the wind, first over not quite as good as last night

Front speed is gonna matter early....

Race 1: 

#1, 2, #3 could be a KEY ...first race wins at Sarnia with non-pro driver > take 2 seconds off ...can go 1.59 tonight and Chris is real good with baby trotters

#4 figures...Scott Young is real good on trotters and driving more aggressive this year ...horse has race experience

#5 wow, big mile parked and other great Trot driver and trainer

#8 > great trainer and horse is ready to go after last competitive race

Take > 358 ....don't like the closing quarters on #1 ....

Maybe add > 24?

Race #2:

-#1,#3 and #4 figure....and #5 is very well bred and middle of the gate...good connections

**cannot take Matt Bax #2 to beat professional drivers, unless the horse stands out as the clear fave on paper and that is not the case here

My GUT says KEY #1 as JMAC had his choice here of many that he qualified and they spent a lot of money on this horse when they don't have to as their farm sires many great ones .....if Bax thought #2 was better, he would have put JMAC on it

 Ya....but it reduces the chance of a higher payout, especially if first race is a favourite

They can screw around easier too, with shenanigans, breaking on purpose, etc

TAKE #1 as a key, if not > ALL 5

Race #3:

-GUT says you only need 2 horses  >> #1 and #2 stand out but look at #8 and realize it was in the same race but challenged the lead and broke.....its qualifier is the best I have seen this spring for a young trotter

SHOCKER> #7 ....the mare has produced other good young trotters and Majestic Son sire with Muscle Mass is a nice big/fast horse combo

KEY HUNCH > #1

Tough call on that second race ..I had fhe 4 and 3 as the chalks , planned on including the 1 as well 

Might have to spend $100-120 tonight

Race #4:

-tough to leave a Captaintreacherous bred horse but I just might with #2 .....based on back half which is how you select for this race since there are some deceiving lines here

BEST BACK HALVES:

#3 and #4, both in 55.0 back half .....BUT, #3 gets a much improved driver and its first race, it came home in 56'2

#3 is a KEY for me off of the DRIVER CHANGE and back to back fast back halfs....its a STAY HUNGRY colt which have proven to be fast this year and tough.....Brad Grant owned also 

-might throw in #4 and if so, then #6 ....crazy back half on a B -track half mile

I am going to do 3 tickets WHEELING the 2-3 horses that I am GAGA for so far

Race #5:

I could make a case for all the horses except for #1 and #9 .....#1 has only moved well when middle of the gate with Sylvain driving aggressively and McClure cannot beat a lot of these in the #1 hole so will be buried!

#7 -has my eye the most and of course the Galluci /JMAC combo.....like #4 as well....consistently coming home fast and 154 almost every race

My tickets: .....one thing I have to keep reminding myself is, 2 yr old Trotters almost never win back to back and so will handicap accordingly.....I do think #2 in RACE #3 could be an exception but its in very tough to win back to back in its race

#1 has an equipment change in Race #5 so putting it in on a ticket

358 / 1 / 128 / 34 / All (8) except #9 = $28.80

PICK3 > 358 / ALL / 67 = $4.80

358 / 14 / 1 /346 /3467 = $14.40

358 / ALL(4) / 18/ 3 / 3467 = $19.20

#1 was a KEY in race #2.....watched the gait of #4 and was not impressed....also a much smaller horse but you cannot see that in the program

Bax's owner spent $97K......I should have just keyed this horse and played a big ticket in the last 3 races but its hard to do with baby trotters

Jesus..... #7 is a nice looking trotter and has a big hold with Jodi....rarely do you see the musculature in its chest that I see 1st race out

I owe you big time for keeping me alive ...The 1 was my 3rd choice after the scratches ...Didn't plan on including with the deeper legs in  the he 3rd-5th ......Staying alive and being deep is the key
