PTB, r u going to play any OAKS/DERBY doubles? Oaks does look much easir to narrow in some winners than the semi wide open Derby

Even if you don't double, what WOULD you play? There are plenty of great races the next two days at CD What is weather in Louisville going to be the next two days?

6 of the 10 on this list have no chance to win...maybe fillout exotics.  Trinniberg is the biggest sucker bet in the Derby.  He's capable of leading half the race and finishing 20th

No joke, this is one of the toughest derbys I can remember..........with that said, I would box:


5,6,7,8,9,10,14,15...............thats 8 horses but I like them. Gitta have Trinni in there just in case, why you may ask? Because his owners never ran this horse longer than 7f & they think he will win 


If you cant play an 8 horse box, here are the horses I like in order:

15, 5, 6, 14, 7..............box 5 horses..............

Trinniberg = 1st to surrender.

No disrespect but he has never ran over 7 furlongs...He wont know what to do with 10 furlongs.  He is a sprinter and has no chance to even fillout a superfecta. 

Like I said earlier, wont surprise me at all to see him winning the first half, but he will sellout, be the first to surrender and could easily finish in the 20 spot. 

This is the only horse I know for sure that cant even come in 4th

I will play the 15 & 5 across the board, only one horse scares me in the race & that Bodemeister...........the others dont scare me at all.

I agree with Dullahan, prob the best deep closer in the field.

 Gemologist is unproven to me, only ran twice in graded stakes rraces and ran against underclass horses.  He hasnt had any true test, unlike numerous of the top horses in the Derby. Look at his records. I do like his Post position, but Im sure the general public will bet him down, solely bc he is unbeaten. 

But I dont see how you can leave out Union Rags!  There is a reason he has never been more than 9/2, opening at 3-1...He is the best horse in the field!
