Let The Good Times Roll

Two takeaways from yesterday for me are that Christophe Clement is no longer a virgin in BC races & Jose Ortiz is fearless. His ride on Pizza Bianca was scary just to watch.

I like #2 Lone Rock in the 2nd race. Jonathan Kitchen gave this one a shout-out a few weeks ago stating that this one gets better the longer he goes.

Nice ride by Flavian Pratt on #6.

Good for CC.Hard to believe with his talent it took this long. 

Wife hit on pizza strictly because of Bobby Flay. Amazing. What a life eh?

#2 Lone Rock did what he does. Nice patient ride by Vazquez gets the decent $27.20 double.

Race 3

It looks like anyone that gets up to ride #2 Princess Grace wins with her. Geroux, Desormeaux, Bravo, Boyce & Diaz have all won on her. Kent D gets the honor of the mount today. Like the jock upgrade to Irad on #3 Abscond who missed beating #2 by a half length; maybe Irad makes the difference here????  #9 Constantia will be closing as she likes to do. #7 Going Global has won 6 of 10. So does Kent D or Flavien Prat shit the bed here? 

Boxing 2-3-7-9. Small Win play on Irad making the difference on #3 Abscond 

Prat has won 2 of the 1st three races & tops off a nice $48 exacta with Tyler running 2nd on 1.

Race 4

#5 Gamine has only been behind in one race and it was by 1 length at the start which she ended up winning by 6. I think she wins here but just for discussion sake, I could see Saez pressuring her on the lead with #6 Bella Sofia & #4 Ce Ce benefit from the speed duel.

No Play for me here. I'll keep my powder dry for later in the card.

NOTE:

Some big change in Race 11.

Both #15 Bolshoi Ballet & #16 Channel Marker got into the race.

So Frankie Dettori gets off #8 Broome to ride #15 & is replaced by Irad. 

Don't sleep on #16 Channel Marker as he ran 3rd to probable chalk # 13 Tarnawa in this race last year. He's been dull this year going 0 for 5 but it is Saez/Mott.

Getting the Over 76.5 in the Wake/NC game in the 3rd quarter deserves a nice cold beer.

#1 Silver State runs are heart out every time he goes.

#5 Life is Good is real good for Todd Pletcher who picked up the training duties from Baffert. He's won 4 of 5.

#8 Eight Rings is trained by Baffert & currently 15-1.

I like #7 War Like Goddess.  She's won 6 of 7 & Leparoux has been on her for each race. It's his only mount in the BC races. I'm not a big fan of Julian but sometimes a jock just needs to sit on the horse & keep them out of troubler. That's my concern because Leparoux finds trouble way to often. So I hope he just sits on her.

It's like we just need one nice hit to make the day a winner unless we get nuts with wagers which is absolutely possible.

I'm putting a small WPS wager on #5 Queen Supreme. She's owned by Gary Barber. Her last 2 were dull thus the 64-1 odds.

#8 had won 5 mil but didn't trust who she beat.

#2 Jackie's Warrior already has over 400k bet on him to win with 15 MTP,

Tri key 2 with 567.
