Hopefully the weather doesn't get worse but it may so capped for both on and off turf. Lets do this.
Race 1- #5 Park on the Nile 10-1ml Came back to races a month ago and raced evenly following a really nice 2yr old debut at this track and distance. that 2 yr old performance could even win this race today. Gotta figure he just need his last and that McPeek has him cranked for today at CD.
Race 2- #8 Blamethechampagne 6-1ml form is muddied up after a turf try in last but this filly is ready to break her maiden in a field that doesn't look imposing. Wilkes entered her in a stakes against Nest in Feb and she ran a good 3rd so is solid filly obviously.
Race 3- #4 Myopic 8-1ml I like him on turf and dirt today.
Race 4- #8 Illiogami 4-1ml the fav #7 is a 3yr old taking on older-- thats not good until late summer in my book so this one looks to be the most likely winner of the older horses. Has a win at track and distance also.
Race 5- Turf #7 Curly ruth 6-1ml Dirt #4 She Cant Sing 8-1ml
Race 6- #6 Pauline's Pearl 2-1ml Best Bet of the day-- the #2 Shedaresthedevil will be the fav and overbet and is on the down swing. #6 is the next big thing in the division and may get better than 2-1 also.
Race 7- #6 Fulsome 8-1ml I have always loved this horse so this is kind of a bet with my heart also. I do believe this is the best 4yr old colt in training right now so he must show that to beat these top class routers.
Race 8- Turf #7 Beechnut Trophy 10-1ml Dirt #1 Top Dancing Lady 20-1ml
Race 9- #4 Ain't Easy 12-1ml I think this filly is a late running sprinter and this 7 furlong distance will hit her perfect. Great post draw and should sit mid pack behind fast pace and have every chance to surprise late.
Race 10- #7 Diamond Ops 12-1ml on both turf and dirt
Race 11- Oaks! #3 Hidden Connection 20-1ml Bomb of the Day I guess the ml needed to be 20-1 but i think its bad. This horse wants distance and has raced against the best fillys in big races her whole career so far and she romped at CD as a 2yr old. I am all in on this bomb.
Race 12- #4 Society 8-1ml Comebacker for Asmussen who is fast and has been working fast. May be the best price you get in her all year.
Race 13- #10 Merci Rd 8-1ml Nice debut at Keeneland when dismissed at 16-1 Seaz stays on her and hoping for a stalk/pounce trip
