Gotta be one of the dumbest name changes in the history of name changes.   You change from a name that everybody who cares about horse racing knows and go to a name that nobody has a friggin clue what you are talking about.

But as you say, everybody that cares should recognize the name change. The only thing that changed is the name so the status quo remains.
