Proud Owner

It’s been a tough month or two for me so I have decided to treat myself to something I’ve always thought about doing.

I am now, while one of many, the proud owner of the daughter of one my favorite fillies,Audible. She has yet to be named and at this moment she is getting her early lessons on a gorgeous Ocala farm.

She will head to Todd Pletcher’s barn where she will begin the second part of her training at some point I am told.

I know it’s somewhat high risk, but the price was right and the perks that come with it has me tickled with excitement. You only live once and hopefully I can see her race at Saratoga in the near future.

Gotta love MyRaceHorse!!! Gives us small guys a chance to experience ownership of a thoroughbred. I love it!!! I hope this filly has a nice career for you and gets you to want to get ownership in other horses! There's no telling where this could lead. Good luck brother!

She was officially named Lady Blitz and training well at Wavertree farms.

Calling it now. If by chance she makes it to the big league's drinks are on me.

If everything goes right my race horse Lady Blitz is ready to run. She is tentatively entered in a maiden race on June 16 at Monmouth.
The journey begins.

Good luck Vet.  Entered Saturday at Monmouth 3rd race 5 furlongs Maiden Special Weight #6 with 5/2 odds.  Her last workout was very good from what I saw listed.  Anyway has to be a thrill!!

 Actually, it's Friday the 16th.

Gotta love the best of 86 bullet last Saturday going 4F in 48 flat from the gate.

There are a couple of well bred fillies in the race.

1st flash of the tote could be very telling.

Sounds like a pretty competitive race.

As Midnight stated, she ran a Bullet and my wife is just tickled about it. Would love to stand in the winners circle someday.

Broke very slow out of the gate. Gained ground but not enough. Out of the money but better odds next time with one under her belt.

Get them in her next start!!  Just remember Secretariat finished fourth in his debut race back in 1972..

She's going up against 7 first timers & #6 Lady Moscato who ran 2nd as the beaten favorite @ Ellis Park for Saez/Lukas.

I think we'll get much better odds on Opening Day at the SPA. Looking at the possible early DD's will tell us a lot about the 1st timers.
