1) Malagacy and Battalion Runner ruled out of Derby by trainer Tod Pletcher. Lookin at Lee and Sonneteer next in line.
2) Thunder Snow in the Derby.
3) Girvin works....solid work, breezed in company at .59.6...NOTE: work was at Keeneland, not at CD. Also, not sure it wasn't on the Keeneland synthetic training track or dirt track.
4) J Boys Echo work "showed more enthusiasm than usual," according to drf.com.
5) Gormley and Royal Mo put in "stamina" works. Gormley goes in 1.26.2 for 7F.....encouraging work pattern for his backers and coming of his SA Derby closing win.
