Saturday Racing

Beautiful South Florida weather today for the 9 stake races. 3 nice stakes at the BIGA including the Gotham & 6 in Cali @ Santa Anita.

Didn't have time to post my double plays @ GP but am alive with the 5-8-11-12 after Tyler won on the 12 in the 1st race.

Keep in mind Joel Rosario is @ GP today for the 1st time this year I believe & will have some live mounts.

Won't be playing every race at every track but I do like a few today.

Should be a fun day along with college basketball.

Missed the double by a nose.  Hope it's not a sign of things to come.

GP Race 3 I have #4 Mira Mission in my stable waiting for him to race again but he gets into a tough race here with #2 Never Surprised a Pletcher colt for the Repole Stable,

Pass on this small field.

Damn...Mira Mission won by a head @ 8-1!

TB Race 5 #5 Skillful has been knocking on the door. 

#5 had the race won until he hung to lose by a head!

Actually I think jock Daniel Centeno outrode Castillo.

OAK race 4 #2 Hardly A Secret..hasn't won in over a year but drops down to an 8k claimer which should make him competitive here.

#2 Hardly A Secret got the right company & won by about 8. Chalky exacta.

TB Race 8 #4 Supply Chain is a first timer out of Speighster for Chad Brown getting clobbered at the window. I'll just watch this one.

Supply Chain went gate to wire to win by about a length as even money but jockey Samy Camacho didn't make it easy for him.

This guy was in my stable but hope to see a jock change on this guy.

GP Race 9 #9 In Italian looks like a good filly for Chad Brown winning her last convincingly @ TB .

Tri key 9 with 1378

Missed the tri but #9 In Italian went gate to wire under Irad @5/2 to get the $60 exacta with his brother Jose on #8 Billy Mott's filly Wakanda.

Nice hit with the fav Midnight,thinking Rosario might be due for a win soon.

FG Race 7 #2 Cosmic Train..glad to see James Graham back on this guy. Cotto put this one on the lead which he didn't like IMO.

GP Race 11 #1 Abaan is something special & will run all day; the longer the better.

What a great ride by James Graham coming from about 15 lengths off the pace with Cosmic Train to close winning by a head  to pay $13.80; exacta paid $63.00. This guy just loves running down the leaders.

Abaan couldn't have had a worse trip. He likes to get the lead & we see what can happen when he doesn't.

GP Race 12 Boxing 4-7-8-9

#13 Galt is very interesting for a couple pf reasons. vet mentioned Rosario being due & he picks up the mount here. Galt tired for 4th in the Holy Bull against a very good huge roan named White Abarrio. Maybe Rosario is able to temper Galt's up front speed saving something down the stretch. He gets in off the AWE list s well.

Making a small play across the board play on #13 @ 24-1.

Had the 48 but didn't have the winner #2.

Galt was involved in the Spill with High Oak but everyone including both colts seem to be OK.

Finale @GP #8 Opalina loves the track .

Race 7 #9 Let's Be Clear ..this one was scratched by Trainer Brian Cox on 2/10 & I'm guessing he's been looking for a spot to race this filly. ML 4-1

WOW...Opalina made some closing move to get 2nd but couldn't catch the gate to wire chalk.

OAK Race 10 #5 Midnight Mistress gets a jock upgrade to Geroux for Asmussen in her 2nd try. Currently 8-1

Yikes..Geroux got steadied when going through a spot on the rail & was almost unseated. No chance after that.
