Its that time of year again. Welcome to the 11th Derby pool. We will have horses and prices after the draw today.
The rules are, each person has $10 to play. You will pick $10 worth of horses. You cannot go over. Most points wins. Tiebreaker determination is the best positions based on all the horses chosen. In case of exact horses by two or more participants, it will be a draw. Points are 4 for the winning horse, 3 for second, 2 for third, and 1 for fourth.
In case of scratch, you may choose another no later than 6 P.M. on Friday.
In honor of our 11th year, Colin has put together an amazing prize package. The first place winner will get a swag pack, consisting of covers hoodie, hat, travel mug, and money clip. The second place will get to choose between a hoodie and a hat, and the 3rd place winner gets the remainder.

To clarify what Johnny is trying to say. The prices per horse are already set. The biggest favorites are $4. Next in line are $3. Then $2 and the least favorites to win the race cost $1. So you are taking White Abarrio. He cost $2. Then you want Messier, and he cost $3. Next you took Epicenter. He cost $4. Last you took Taiba he cost $2. So you are at $11, over the $10 amount you are allowed to spend. You don't pick the amount you want to put on the horse, and you don't have to put them in order of preference of how you think they will finish. You just spend $10 based on how the horses are priced in the OP's first few posts. Then depending if the horses you picked come in the top 4 of the Derby, you will be awarded points. So if Messier wins since you have him you will get 4 points. So you will need to drop a horse and substitute a horse that cost less. For example you can drop Taiba (who cost $2) and add any of the horses that cost $1. Or you could drop Messier (who cost $3) and pick up a horse that cost $2. Hopefully you get the idea. Heck you could even pick 10 horses that cost $1 if you really wanted to. Hope this helps. Same goes to @BDA11 and @skoda you DO NOT pick how much you want to risk on your horses. The horses cost are already set. You just get to pick up to $10 worth of horses. Just trying to help my fellow Cover peeps. Best of luck gentlemen! And ladies of course!
