I have been sort of a lurker as far as these threads go...I read them all the time. I would love to get in on it with you, seeing the success you have had and more to come I think.
I am only hesitant to jump in with you because I am not sure I have the knowledge (which I have greatly gained reading these posts) nor the money. What do you suggest would be a minimal starting bankroll to go in on something like this?
Thanks and BOL to all,
Pat Bateman

I'm still pretty green at this myself, but I would advise you to go over to forex.com and open a practice account. That's what I'm doing at the moment, learning on a practice account. I'm waiting for my live account to be opened there, I had to scan them my ID and such, as required by US law of all foreigners (which I am, being a canuck). Learn how to use the trading program using that, it gives you a great feel to the Forex market. Then you can look up the advice in Bucknuts' threads, he knows what he is doing I've tailed him and it's increased my practice account.
As for going with a live account, you can start with as little as $250 at forex.com, that's getting a mini account, where you will trade 10,000 lots at 200:1 leverage (so it's about $50 per trade or so) As a result, I would start with at least $1,000. That's going to be my starting bankroll when I get my live account. Always remember, as with sports betting, only put up the amount you can afford to lose, especially in the beginning. But if you get seasoned enough, you can make a fortune day trading this stuff, like stock traders.

One of the things I don't like is the fact alot of these currency pairs have big spreads to overcome. The main ones are fine, but the CAD/CHF pair has a spread of 10 pips.
