Well i went through the charts and it doent look like there will be anything for alittle bit,but if somebody is here and has some questions or whatever lets talk....
 
Also id like to add that i dont think the market conditions will have much if any impact on our little system here...look back through the charts RSI bottoms alone are worthy of being traded......so if you get both RSI and DMI its $$...cross trades are the same if the RSI is good...
 
I like a buy of USD/CAD here at 1.1778 on the buy not going to trade it cause theres no clear signal but it looks as if it will move up according the RSI
 
We took our lumps early on i think we got this down now,not being cocky just confident...lets start the week on a good note here and let the results do the talking

I'm watching!

I'm just starting with demo trading, I'm going to try several systems simultaneously and track them in a spreadsheet and see which work best for me. All this while reading, reading and more reading...

Just remember to be patient,you dont lose $$$ until you sell for a loss,if i jump in something its because of the chart and most of the time its the 4hr im looking at so dont sell out an hr later down 30 pips cause in 3 hrs you could be up 60

I know you've said you often don't use stops, but so where do you typically bail out and what kind of profit are you looking to stick it out until?

 USD/CAD 15 mins after open with a 19 pip spread....
 
just went to 1.1818 on the sell id be out with $350 at least

i dont use stops at all.....if the charts turns sour ill sell out but for the most part ill just average according to how the pair is moving....not really any set method ....every trade is different

What did you see that made you like USD/CAD? RSI looked to me like it was moving up, but was still only at midrange (in the 40s on my chart, which for some reason on Oanda is 3hr instead of 4hr).

It was just the RSI......the bands were all tight and they moved it down b4 open.......i think it at least tests 1.19 here shortly...
 
It didnt look good enough to trade but it looked like that was the right direction...

What about AUD/USD? RSI and DMI+ were both near the upper band and beginning a downturn. Or is that no good because they weren't quite pinned at the top?

I like a sell of USD/CHF DMI lines are going to cross with the RSI sinking....selling two lots 1.1757...no limit gonna watch

Yeah if they have room to move and havent confirmed a turnaround its a no go.......not saying that wont be a good trade its just not 4 me

Jesus, spreads on Oanda are ridiculous at open, apparently. 10 on eur/usd, 20 on aus/usd. Guess I'll have to switch brokers when I'm ready to go live.

DMI lines touching on the 2hr.....if it drops here short term and stays down the 4 hr will cross as well and this could be a nice drop

this trade is off the version1.0 charts BTW.....i like the chart on the trading platform front page for RSI but v1.0 are what i like to use when looking at DMIs and williams%
 
 
going to eat dinner be back in 30 mins....wa up 20+pips now less that 10.......but im not going anywhere

I guess I just don't see it. On my 4hr, RSI is still going up and is at 66, neither DMI is near top and have a ways to go before crossing. I don't have a 2hr, but on the 1hr the RSI is dropping somewhat but right around 50, and DMIs again have a ways to go before crossing.

I think you're doing so well because of intuition and experience at least as much because of your system, if not more.

Am I looking at bizarro world charts? On my 1hr and 3hr, DMIs have not crossed and RSI is if anything on the low side.

No they havent crossed yet but they are close and the RSI is in the lower section of the chart...2hr and 4hr is what im looking at...2hr lines are close as they can get w/o touching

Its moved against me here 15-20 pips but im not worried i got time....this is off long term charts so it may take some time to hit my limit but i think its good....moving down now as i type

I got my brother watching this puppy i got to run to my old mans shop to pick some stuff up for work in the am...if i go now i wont have to get up at 5 am to go get it.....be back by 8pm or so..

1iron and ORC if you jumped in dont move your average until your down at least 40 pips....ill be back shortly and hope we r outta this by then..

I didn't jump in, I'm just watching. I don't have the 2hr, but the 1hr and 3hr don't show anything that makes it seem like it's going to go down. Chart-wise, the only thing I see that would make me thing a sell is a good bet is that it is again banging into the same resistance line it's been bouncing off of for awhile, around 1.1800.
