Not sure I have seen a move like that in 30 minutes ever.

Dow jumps 400 pts, NAZ 100 pts.

Hey guys, glad to see this is still going, I peek in whenever I have some time. Just wondering if there are any books out there that could help a complete greenhorn such as myself?

well LB/$ reached the 5330s..i was close called for the 20s

I like Au here gonna sell some 9620s..i can see weakness to 94s maybe upper 94s....setting it for 50 pips

 

Patrick i bought a book dealn with wave counts and such but there are so many different angles to look at this stuff...do you trade stocks or have any exp with charts,any kinda market?

bucknuts,

Minimal experience in stocks and non in currency. I just like to watch you guys do well and am hoping that once I can get some money together to maybe try.

I am hoping to start "paper trading" soon as I find the time between work and sports betting.

Any suggestions on where to start? I have looked through babypips.com briefly. Looks like they have a good beginner school introduction that I have not had time to sit down and really look into yet.

Man wtf is going on with aud..at work now will add when I get home..
Pat open a practice account and follow some trades..everybody offers free practice accounts...tell them to set it for 2 or 3gs and trade mini lots
we r always lurking if u got questions

from a personal standpoint, do you find the stock market or forex more profitable?

Both in a different way, the Forex is higher leveraged, much higher risk but to me it seems less manipulated, that a little guy stands more of a chance and you can get more information on what moves a pair versus stock information.

I think to perform best in the currency market, experience in the stock market or some sort of investing similar is important.

Well i need AUD to close the week in the upper 99s here to keep the down trend lines in tact..hoping we see some small reverse tomorrow or Friday..

Been having issues with my laptop over heating and shutting off...my oldest is on mine all the time now since the other went down a few weeks back and ive been on nights...off Friday will get some laptop time to study charts

Well I am out of all positions, looking for a new EU entry, I dont buy this bump..they arent doing anything but floating more Euros which is dilutive.

Started a new EU short at 1.38, I get the feeling things arent going well in EU land and it will reflect in the pair soon (I hope).

Missed EU cover by 10 pips, now looking to add at 1.3950 and start AU at 1.05

Hey guys! Been a while.... Picked up a few on the AU short today. Thanks!!! Anyways, I can't remember if it was Wall or Buck, but one on you talked one time talked about the indicators you used. Which ones did you use on your charts? I had a chart with them on there, and deleted that chart on accident. Hope things are good with eveyone, and hoping to get back in to this again!!!!

Yeah buck uses crosses of the two main indicators as entry and exit the DI lines (plus and minus) and the AD.

Looking at 1.03 for the AU to exit the short, going to keep holding this EU short, it is starting to shape up here finally.

I can't believe they keep kicking this can down the road and the markets eat it up every time...everything I've read is negative how can the markets react like this...I've seen a few say the Euro won't last 2 more years..that's pretty bold seeing as how countries are all willing to take these losses 50% on all Greek bonds...where is all this $??

Will cover EU short at 1.38, that would be net gain of 400 pips although I still want that 1.365 from earlier.

Also will consider AU cover at 1.05, which would net 230 pips.

Nope..

They had to stop the bleeding so the ECB stepped in and propped the bond auction yesterday..

Cant allow the selling to last longer than a day now.

I dont see how the Euro and more risk trades arent in the crapper, the news is mixed and bleak yet they keep holding it in vs the USD.

Decent day today but to really cash you need a leg to fall off the chair, get some REAL USM selling going.
