WOOHOO!!! My EUR/USD short has FINALLY shown profit since I entered this trade way back on March 2nd! Feels good! It broke the resistance, so I feel confident this will keep sailing downwards over the next little while.
Bring on the GRAVY!

No, because I was worried that if I did that and it turned against me I'd be really up shit creek without a paddle. My strategy is one lot at a time, until I really get the hang of this. The last few weeks have been an experience, becuase I figured I'd either make money or bust out, and I have well enough margin in my acct that it would have taken a huge bump up in the EUR to bust me out... so I stuck with it, and made it a long term thing, instead of just a short term a day or two investment. I waited it out and it's paying off. Just hope this keeps falling now, so I can get a nice chunk of pips out of this.

Ice STOPS are account killers unless you really are a tech trader...Ive watched traders go cold and just keep getting stopped out for many trades in a row until they decide to take a break...it works but you really have to be looking at the longer time frames using Elliot wave or major fib levels...or at least thats my take on stops
I cleaned up on JPY dont know if you guys have been listening to Andrews show via the link i posted last week but its really helpful...im holding JPY on an entry of 90.25...looking for JPY to climb another 70-80 pips b4 i jump out
Also short EU with more lots than i should be but i had to take a shot here...my "line in the sand" was 1.3550 just because weve seen a bounce off this level a few times this month.. i thought once it didnt hold here it was over with and so far that looks to be the case...dollar index looks good again and news still bleak from EU zone so im gonna let it ride for now...i think 1.27 is coming now we"ll see.....

I called for those things when the FED first raises rates..until then I dont see how you can run the USD against the Yen or even more a strong AUD and CAD, but I think the weaker CHF and LB and EU are susceptible for sure.
If they bump the EU over 1.34 tomorrow I will probably start legging into a short, mainly because I think Portugal issues start surfacing more and Spain as well. A stronger play would be to short the EU.AUD, but the EU.USD is a bit safer for sure.
I remember when the EU was at .80 cents to the USD, back when Clinton was exiting office..so it for sure could and will break the buck if the FED raises while the EU is in the middle of its mess.

theres a chart on the Aussie dollar...DI cross coming...triple top here
I dont see a triple top..that would be a test of the high and a failure.
I see a series of lower highs and lower lows..the high I have for that chart on mine is over .93 on the first two and about .925 on the last "hump".
I like the idea of lower highs though..
That aside..follow what is working and after reading about a rate hike by the Aussies changes the whole thing since the USD wont be raising rates for a long time, that puts more pressure on the USD versus the AUD.
The AUD will stay high until the USM falls..commodity momentum fuels the AUD and how the USM trades..so go short the AUD if you think the USM is going to fall or the FED will raise rates.
