Raining pips April edition

shrt at 5320....right at what is now looking like pretty good support if any move comes this way...also long CHF...dont know what happened but my platform jumped and CHF was all the way down in the 60s again...EUR was at 3315???

DID this happen to you Wall about 5 mins ago?

 

I wasnt looking, but the chart says about 40 min ago the CHF went wacko?

EU did as well..I was playing Crazy 8's with the kiddo..

Was just an instant jump/drop in several pairs...

It might have been due to that Greece downgrade?

Or maybe the US housing numbers?

How's it going fellas. Call me crazy but I see the Euro freefalling to the 1.29 level in the coming weeks.

 I just shorted a lot@3287. Price just breached the March 25th and April 8th medium-term support levels. Not really sure where I'm getting off but i set my mental stop @3310. I expect the 3300 level to be tested so I didn't put a hard stop just yet as I don't want to be spiked out of the trade.

I think I'll ride this trade overnight. I'll try to link up a chart snapshot.

Man what a missed opp..the EU has dropped almost 150 pips since last night.

I think it has to do with the Greece situation and I agree about where this heads..as Soros thinks it goes to par with the USD.

I remember when the EU was 75 cents to the USD, back when I was a broker..

not sure....just know i was staring at the screen when it jumped...

 

Lets see if they let the markets sell into the afternoon, it has not been the pattern lately.

If they buy the futures again then the DOW should finish down less than 40 pts and the NAZ might go positive, if they really allowed selling to pick up then 150 down would be correct.

I should start trading off my feel for this market.

Wall i cant understand why you dont...some traders just use price action to trade anyhow...it dont matter in the end as long as it makes $$$...more often then not you call whats going to go down might as well profit from it..

i too have a hard time taking my own advice...i called for 10770 in CHF and GBP to reach the level it did today[not that it was that hard to do just reading S/R] and didnt profit hardly at all

yup, mr. price action, that's me. Wall, with your experience, you're probably going to do really well. In matters of financial speculation, I find you either got it or you don't.Looks like both you and buck really understand the market behaviour.

BTW, here comes the Euro-greenbacks freefall! I think I'm going to peel off half a lot @3261(recent test level) for a 25+pip gain and ride the rest overnight until tomorrow.

I wouldnt shake free from that EU trade, it is just begging us to short it..check all the pairs with the EU in it, especially the EU.AU...just absolute death..and I think it goes lower and lower and lower..

I think Greece is going to end up being a total nightmare...

Well I find it funny how they keep falling for this Greece move, its almost as phony as how they keep pumping the USM every day at 10 AM...
