111 million shares short as of end of November, where they going to get shares from????

Shares short mean nothing and you know it, that is for sure a red herring and you shouldnt play that game.

The issues are only with regard to Sanofi..nothing else matters, the product, Mann, shares short, the mean wall street crooks it doesnt matter.

Sanofi holds all the cards, they can run this into the ground if they want, your only concern should be sales trends and what Sanofi wants to do..anything else is noise.

If sales trends continue as they are, you wont have enough money to pay back what you owe and the debt aside from Sanofi's marketing obligations. If that happens next year you have a big zero here.

You know this already.

So you think Al made this deal with Sanofi after they hired a company to do all due diligence (Greenfield) on the transaction and did not ensure they would do what they need to survive. It take a year for Insurance companies at least to put new drugs on their tier 1 or 2 coverage.  That happens next year.  No commercials yet for drug, why they are waiting to do all this at once. They fired Hakan or relived him of his duties and he is still on payroll to 2017. Your not real bright if you think this is just Sanofi can't sell afrezza. They are not trying too yet.

I feel for ya... I haven't commented here in a long time. I do know this is in trouble... Going to a buck then R/S....to remain on Nasdaq you need a dollar...Looks like a big mistake by a really old man.

The only issues are that MNKD gave up so much to get a deal with Sanofi and they owe so much that they have no power in this situation..

When you give away control as they did, there isnt much that matters...so all that matters here to the stock is sales and Sanofi.

Until they either get rid of Sanofi (which they cannot) or get control over their cash flows (which they cannot) they have no control.

So if Sanofi thinks they can bottle this up and sink it to get the assets for nothing, that might be what happens.

This is easy to see...

Yep, anyone following this play is LONG or SHORT or PUMPER or FAKE SHORT working for a HF.  No one just watches from the sideline.  On stocktwits, this lowly biotech play has 10,400 followers which is a huge number.  Interest level is high regardless of trade.

Made my final buy today @ 1.4899 for 3k.  Now own 50K.  I won't buy anymore regardless of where it moves from here.  Good luck to all.

hey its gambling.. louis aint  a bad guy...  wall st was right tho,i will admit... i had NYNY last week do a reverse 5-1 split that cost me 800...this was 600 and the guy that came in louis's thread touting a pharmyce stock that was 17cent a share i got a 100 worth...now6 cents...so we gamble....my alcoa went up a buck to 10.11 and dropped a bit tho! poooo get back in the saddle.    T bills the way///   make your 6k a yr,pay a taxe and work and hustle,u be ok..

so you made me go look...my 10k portfolio is down to 6k. AA took a dump today to well below 9...  mannkind at 71cents...  pharmcyte bio  went up past 8 cents!  LVS is prob a sell after losing another 108cents... nyny beat me bad, 5-1 reverse split left me w 6.5 shares which went from 21 to 15....  im done with stocks...i might sell LVS to recoup 800bux.   wall street...  is buying a house for cash best in the next few mths or taking a loan, VA.?  thx... louis, im with you brother, a futures wager on  wash/houst is ok, and denver /wash rematch is possible.  no hard feelings. no one forced no one.

Gambling it is. Had Russia @4.5-1 on Monday in the under 20 tourney as can attested in the hockey forum to off set most of the loss in MNKD. Funny how it all works. Owned it at 5.57 a share sold @ 0.77 an hr ago.  Not bragging, just fact.Bought it a year ago on a 0.86cent canadian $ and our $ now 0.70c. A little recoup i guess!! LOL

Most everything is getting beat up this week market in a slide. Poo I am holding AA also getting hurt today just stay put on that. Not sure what to do with MNKD they need as a company to come up with a plan find a new partner or something. It may be heading to BK who knows.

The only way Mankind can survive is to conduct those test require by the FDA and hope that it come out with high success rate. Or else just file for a bankruptcy and be gone for good...
