good GOD Bartaromo (sp?) has a voice that could kill snakes. it's WORSE that PALIN!!!

btw, MGM's earnings (more like lack there of) SUCKED and the whole gaming sector looks like IT'S sobbering up. Goldman put a "sell" on that Macau fraud MPEL and it's down below 4 again.

was talking to a woman that does cocktails @ MGM's new City Center casino the other night @ the 32 degree bar and she said their traffic SUCKS.

    Ah yes the China model...

first kill millions of your citizens in a Great Leap Forward

then let western companies use the remainder as slaves

    ship to Walmart

    rinse, repeat.

Typing error being blamed for dive?

That nasal twang of Bartiromo makes me hurl as well....

Spoken like a true market vet..

Cramerica took a peek at the futures and drew a grandstandish conclusion like he always does.

Getting that POS off the tv would be taking a step in the right direction if you ask me.

well looks like that bitch Cramer might be correct. market opened slightly higher, THEN dumped. rallied back to evn and now getting hit with another down wave.

I just hope they keep "Sausage Fingers Sam" off the trading desk @ Citi.

    Rat,

Lets see how they close it..not a ton of selling going on out there, I think it is just a thin market.

They could pull it positive with some slick futures buying and erase 100 pts in 10 minutes if they wanted.

    maybe it WASN'T "Fat Finger".

former Clinton-Bush assistant National Security Advisor Richard Clarke, the guy that tried to get Bush and Condi Rice to take that August 2001 PDB  "Bin Ladin Determined to Strike in US." SERIOUSLY, says THIS is one way a foreign enemy or terrorist organization could destabilize the US economy by railing the markets.

OR it could have been a "Bear Raid" by some Hedge Hog?

The Federal Reserve late Sunday opened a program to ship U.S. dollars to Europe in a move to head off a broader financial crisis on the continent.

Other central banks, including the Bank of Canada, the Bank of England, the European Central Bank and the Swiss National Bank, are also involved in the effort.

hasn't the US of A bailed out EVERY pop dick country with money problems since WWII? we could PAY OFF the National Debt IF every country we bank rolled during (mostly the Brits and Russians) and after WWII (mostly the Germans, Japanese and French) just PAID us BACK
