USD/JPY First Quarter

Im out of EU/JPY forgive me for the late reply here but i got the little one home sick today..get a break in the weather and the kids go outside for two days and now its doctor visits,hoping its not something we will all pass back and forth like STREP

Closed trade for +61.3 pips i tried to pull the trigger for 67 but it didnt give it to me...you guys see LB/JPY moved from 170.13 to 170.68 in 8 mins

I really want to short EU/USD but everything ive read says news later in week should push it a bit higher...thoughts anyone?

It is going to be very volatile, EUR has CPI and Unemployment on Thursday.

Waiting for German #s from everything im reading..everything tied to the only horse with any chance of pulling the cart..lol

I like a long in USD/CHF too..should be at descent support level..i like the look of the charts from the 8hr up

If they ramp EU/JPY back up im not done playing with her either though.Its early in the week still might be better off to let things stew a bit more

 

I dont get the Euro and Pound..how are they valued so much higher than the USD when they both admit that they will be keeping rates low longer than the US Fed will?

Still pushing forward too..lets see if they climb a bit more and make for a better sell

why is the aussie dive bombing ??? light news in 19 mins .. hopefully i can catch it when it gives it all back..

Well my short call from 90.40 was good..the low was 89.67, hell thats more than I got out of EU/JPY in half the time too.Wasn't a setup id trade but picking a side short was the way to go
Hoping something developes tonight or by early morning for a trade..until then ill be lurking lol

trade box set on USD/JPY  it price creeps up to 102.289 I will be pulling the trigger ...To go short

and here is another call, there is no way the AUD is breaking 89.650 if it does you can tell me I am the worst trader in the world..

long AUD @89.990 watched this give back most of its gains ... might squeeze out 15 ..

closed long AUD + 1.2 pips /  opened Short USD/JPY. @102.259

I dont see much chart wise right now..been pretty dead most of the night
Check back in after Londons been at it a few more hrs..some news later too maybe that will spice things up

Looks like they are running the USD today..maybe because the Euro is getting hit and the momo is running to the dollar.

Damn I woulda been good in a buy of USD/CHF or selling EU/USD..the setups didnt look good I couldn't pull the trigger

Jjust noticed looking through charts that EU/JPY also came down to 139.60s.....i should have at least left my limit set at 139.85 which was my initial target for the cross..PATIENCE is the word of the day..lol
Good feeling knowing my calls are right but its much better to have the pips,I left 140+ of them out there
Anything you guys are watching for a trade?

Not to take a jab at Knox or anything but what do you guys think about a long in AUD/USD at this level? This area should provide good support just dont know how much upside there is to be had...

Aussie got knocked down quick..very dicey trading that one given the uncertainty with China...

Still in that long USD/JPY. 

Didn't get out over risk this morning because I was running late. 

Checked it as I was having lunch and things looked great,  got home and sitting right back where I was. 

Should have exited and taken the 40+ pips. 

Still around 16-17 for the time being. 

Probably going to move my stop up 10 pips so the worst I can do is -15, and let it ride.

(I'm looking at the 1hr) if we get a breach of the 50EMA I am out, no reason to take a loss on this one. 

I dont like anything again right now..thi s is typically a dead time anyway..im lurking will check back in later tonight

Taking a short of USD/CAD 1.1134...am i the only one up tonight?
