Over / Under errors MLB contest - July 31, 2024

So what is Covers going to do about all the over / unders that are errored? Some are at 5.5, 4.5 and 3.5 and a lot of people are taking advantage of these errors in the contest with taking the overs on the whole slate?

Voided? Re-graded? Should be interesting.

I’ve noticed this exact thing but have just been a little hesitant..waiting on an outcome..

 I wanted to leave them alone, but envisioned someone just below me moving to number 1 by taking them. As much as I would love to get the 3800 points I lost on the 2 week Leaderboard rollback glitch, I vote void all of our picks that had the wrong line. Voiding all picks even with the correct line would not sit well with people who did well before the glitch. The Toronto/Baltimore game is the only one I know closed before the glitch.

 If the issue continues, I think the best solution is for everyone to take the over so we all benefit equally.

I hope bells grabs the 2 that he has not yet grabbed before they are gone.

It'll be funny when these guys have to shell out $100k to potentially multiple people who take advantage of the glitch to help them get their survivor streak to 25.  Looks to be the o/u for 5 innings but just spread out over the whole game.  I've only be able to nab a handful of them.  Looks like this is Covers way of making me visit their site more

it is pretty annoying..it affects streak survivor as well..they don't put the bad lines on there and can't even take the actual line..3 picks i wanted yesterday (which all won at the actual total) were not available on streak survivor due to the glitch

 they arent available at streak survivor though...the bad lines are only available for the king of covers contest..and if they were they would eventually void them..they did that with ncaa basketball lines in the past that were insanely off

 Not necessarily true.  Look at the top guys' (thedeakon) pending pick.  He was able to get in on KC/Det over 4.5 for today

I would suspect most are not available because the consensus is totally leaning to the over.  But if a person happens to pop on before the masses jump on those picks and the chaos begins then one could select it.  If memory serves me correctly, once a pick is over XX% it becomes unavailable for a survivor pick.  I think it's 66% or maybe 70%, I can't recall the exact number, but there is a limit.  There have been a lot of times in the past (before all this nonsense) where I wanted to make a selection of an o/u, but it just wasn't showing up because too much of the community had gone one side or the other

If this how everyone is doing well on Totals than this entire website is garbage

 the consensus rule is all over the place..they take things off the board quite often when it is a 50/50 splits..there have been a plethora of times where i went to make a play on a pretty much 50/50 consesus play and it wasn't available...cost me many wins with their aribitrary removal

 not sure how they let that slide for that dude taking that bs line..like i said before..in the past i took advantage of a bad line in ncaa basketball and they voided it..was several years ago..think it was like a houston baptist over where they had the total 25 pts lower than it should have been

 I would imagine they will void out all the bad lines once they figure it out.  If they even notice it.  I'm surprised it's lasted this long

 I see thedeakon current streak of 14 has pending Over 4.5 in Balt/Cleveland today....a few others have it too

I finally saw a good legitimate O/U pick and grabbed Under 9 on St Louis before they changed it to 4.5. It had been 4.5 earlier, but I grabbed it after it changed to 9. Then it went back to 4.5.Not lookin good for me right now, but it felt good to make a 9 inning pick, win lose or draw.

 I won both 10,000 picks for 20k total a couple of weeks ago. I ran to my bank thinking I was rich, but forgot it's just monopoly money. LOL

 I avoid them on survivor. I am afraid they will void pick, or adjust it to the correct line, and at that line I may not have picked it.

Hey all,

These lines/totals were all made void. We are looking into how these 1st half lines were showing in contests and will be monitoring it to be sure it doesn’t happen again.

Hey Flynt, they have not all been corrected or voided. Please look at the MLB contest, as many users still have those bets graded as wins.

I guess the records will be updated with the voided picks at noon today?

Looks like things got correct. I was in 3rd place yesterday. Now in 22nd. LOL. Oh well. Felt GREAT going to bed last night. LOL

 they arent available on the survivor.. but carry on

legitimate plays that were open to everyone. the entire contest is void if these plays are now taken down 

errors are when some players can use a play and others cant..
