Cantor Gaming sportsbook online App

I recently opened an online account with Cantor Gaming here in Las Vegas to bet sports online and it is the greatest thing since bubbles in beer. unlike other gaming companies online sportsbooks like William Hill US, it does NOT require a mobile phone App (although that IS available) which means I do NOT have to pay for a mobile phone to book.

their system is Windows PC based and works with either Cox Cable or Century-Link DSL as you internet provider. IF you live in the Las Vegas area, I recommend going past a Cantor sportsbook to open an account. the only "hook" is that IF you bet NBA or NHL you can NOT open it at either their the Palms or Silverton sportsbooks as the casino owners are also owners of NBA and or NHL teams and they can NOT book those leagues. I know the M Casino is OK because that is my "home base" with them

It also works on the iPad. I bet NHL on there all the time and I opened my account at the Palms. Never had a problem with it.

I personally like the Station Casino application better but I shop lines between the two, if they are the same I go with Station since Red Rock is 5 minutes from home and I get comps there.

an Ipad is a mobile app. in that case you should check out William Hill US. I actually like their book and odds better than Cantor Gaming. it is just that I don't want to fool with mobile phones. I am hoping William Hill will develop a PC app sometime in the near future.

I bet a LOT of NHL Hockey and Stations odds are always the WORST (although they DO have 1st period betting)

Yes I have the William Hill one as well. I work from home so I have the Cantor one on my PC as well as my ipad.

Speaking of bad odds, how about that SJ game today at -450???

Cantor had the Sabres +350. William Hill (according to VegasInsider.com) was +425. HIGHEST daily "Big Dog" (NHL team with the highest odds that day of at least +150) this season and that I had seen in years. AND wouldn't you know it, Miller steals it in a shootout for "Der Sabel"

been booking NHL Hockey for over two decades. ANYONE who lays more than a -200 straight bet in the regular season GETS what they DESERVE. my highest "lay" I will allow myself is -140 and I got to be DAMN confident to do THAT

Does Cantor/William Hill offer team totals on games?  (NFL, NBA etc). If so, how often? How much juice each way?

I looked one time in the actual book and didn't see any which is strange to me because William Hill is massive offshore and they take all types of prop bets on regular games.

NO, I have never seen "team totals" offered by ANY sportsbook in Las Vegas including Cantor Gaming and William Hill US just on regular season games in ANY sport. obviously DO have "game totals" (BOTH teams total score). ONLY time I have seen any "team total" type bets are "special situation" games like Super Bowl

you can run apps on a windows pc just get an android emulator, but best experience would be a wifi only android nexus 7 tablet, no cell phone bill, good battery life,and good screen real estate

Hilton and Rampart/South Point offer team totals on Thursday night, Sunday night, and Monday night NFL games.

Rampart juices it up -115 each way 

Hilton I believe opens it at -110 each way and moves the number then the juice if need be.

Do any of these apps offer totals on international soccer? I'm currently with William Hill and I noticed they don't offer them. I really don't want to sign up with another service to find out they don't offer soccer totals.

I don't know why books don't put up more props here versus offshore. I guess the demand doesn't exist.

That said, was there a huge outcry for in-game wagering?

Give the people reduced juice, team totals, and as much action as the Las Vegas Hilton (they take totals on EPL and maybe Champions League if you didn't already know).

I know the LVH has action on almost any sports league you can think of. I've even seen Danish League Soccer there before. I'm sure they have totals on everything I am looking for in casino. To my knowledge though they don't have a mobile app which would really be nice. I don't want to run to LVH all the time to try and get wagers down, especially considering it's not exactly around the block from me. If they ever came up with a mobile app with all their lines on it I would never have to visit another sports book again.

Couldn't agree more, its the best book in Vegas and its not even close.

The operators must have their reasoning.

speaking of the LVH Superbook, I am REALLY waiting for Jay Kornegay and his crew to join the 21st Century and get a phone or (even better) PC app for their book. really like their NHL odds BUT I'm not going to drive there every day just to book my little $50 / $100 bets

just checked my Cantor account and they do offer English Premier League "football" games BUT saw no others like Mexico, South American or Euro.

have talked to Kornegay numerous times about PC or phone apps and he's trying to seel it to management BUT with LVH still being in bankruptcy I'm sure start up costs are probably a problem

also Ex for the Superbook it's pretty obvious that NVH management doesn't know how to run a Casino-Hotel. they try to do EVERYTHING on "the cheap cheese and the halfazzed"

Hilton's superbook would be huge if they could put out an app they would likely crush the competition. 

Their rivals (except Cantor) are scared to take big action. Stations throws up props super late if ever and won't take the big action. 

Boyd Gaming should be coming out with an app soon.

Las Vegas Hilton has 20 props out for the BCS title game and alternate spreads/totals. 

Also had 10 props for each NFL game this weekend including team totals at -110 each way. 

They are the only book not ducking and dodging.
