Does anyone even know what is happening to them at Caesars properties

Ceasers properties filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2015 that the reason for bad odds on their games. You still get rooms for $40 and a free shuttle to other ceaser properties so I hear

All casinos on the strip have bad odds in almost all games.

strip just blows compared to a long time ago, would much rather spend time on Freemont street or at local casinos than on the Strip.

Got back from Aria this am
25 dollar black jack with 6:5 odds

So, I usually play at Caesars. I am Gold at MGM through the RCCL Diamond card. This is actually  pretty cool, as Gold is high enough to cut lines at check in and buffets etc.
Got an offer for $69/night at Aria for Thursday and Friday. The resort fee was 39 or something and when it was all done, paid 225 for Thursday and Friday. Not bad for a 5 star.
I like to gamble but do not want to lose big dollars. I like games with odds I can see like Video Poker and BJ/Craps.  I do not want to play a slot where I have no idea what the rake is.

Aria is beautiful. After staying at the Linq my last few trips, you could sure appreciate the upgrade at this hotel. Maids always say hi in the corridors and even the pool guys were helpful, finding us a chair in the shade when we went there. The check in line was awfully long when we got there on Thursday mid-afternoon but we got right up with the Gold card.

The meter runs pretty heavy at the Aria. Breakfast in the cafe was 50 and the buffet for breakfast was also 50.  Hard for me to pay 50 for breakfast in Vegas but that is how the world is today. Grin and bear it boys.

Tried to play some craps on Friday night. The 15 table was packed and the only open table was 25 and a 50 table was also free. I have never seen that before.  I did throw two times on the 25 table and then left, too steep for me.
St down to play BJ on my way out on Saturday AM. My jaw hit the floor to see it was a 6:5 table, the MGM is also learning how to fleece the masses.

I love Vegas, I will be back. Not sure if I should stay at the high end places as I will have to leave to gamble, or is I should "downgrade" to non strip properties and enjoy a little more play and appreciation.   

I play poker tourneys at Aria but have never stayed overnight, sounds like that was a good idea as my days of being fleeced on the Strip are pretty much over... enjoy your posts

Hey Crash,you may like Green Valley Ranch,they comped me a couple times but not enough action at .25 VP to keep it up..Pretty nice place.Every local I've ever talked to stays away from the strip unless to show friends around or see a show.

I'm fine with the Gold Coast/Rio/Orleans and that is the plan this year for opening NFL week/end.8 nights comped with me and buddy using our accounts.That is pretty good and maybe we have to pay 3 resort fees,but I buy the internet anyway...Funny spending a lot of time all summer rearranging to save a $20 here or there.But that is a $20 in a vp machine..

Let the newbies light up the strip and those idiots that don't understand true BJ.

Nobody goes to Vegas to gamble anymore, that is why all the prices and odds are going up.

Going OCT 4 to the 11th... If i dont hurt myself I will try and supply an update. Staying at Planet Hollywood as a guest for free and flying Spirit on the Tuesday specials out of Detroit for 155.00 including bag, both ways. Our $ @ .777 [so thats a good sign right] .  That miracle mile looks interesting for grub!!

we saw J Lo at the PH when we were there. Very interesting. Not for me but the crowd was really into it and loving it.

She is still beautiful but has lost that sexy top notch body

I am looking at a place in Summerlin to buy and rent out and then maybe retire to.
We will be back soon to shop some more and may stay at RR for a change.
I think the others are probably right, if you want to gamble, get away from the strip.
Great rates for DC right now as Congress is out for summer I think
