I had no issues getting drink tickets at the westgate. Didn't even have to bet too much. Orleans also is ok, But more towards horse racing than sports.

I have been getting free rooms at the Linq. I sit at the sports bar with my back to the book. It has some TV's and the bartenders are right there. They have .25 video poker on the bar (5/6 ugh) and if you act just a little like you are playing the drinks flow pretty good.

If I plan on being there for a while ( none as getting drunk)  I TIP THEM $5 OR $10 RIGHT OFF THE BAT WITH THE FIRST DRINK AND A HUNDRED IN THE MACHINE.

Trust me, this will get the drinks flowing and keep them off your back. You do not have to play the whole $100 but it looks really good and they are happy to have a paying customer. I will then usually just tip them out another 5 when I am done.

It sure beats $6.25 the other suckers are paying for their drinks as they walk up to the bar and wait for 20 minutes.

The days of free drinks in the sportsbook are over with.  There is not a place in Vegas where you can get one now.  You either need a ticket or you have to pay,

Was just at westgate October 2019. Make sure you go to a window with seasoned tellers. I've sat next to dudes with 45 dollar bets and they have a couple of comp tickets with them. My experience is the younger tellers will not even mention anything. The older tellers will just hand you a couple without asking. Than again I was putting no less than 100. I was given 5 at 1 time for putting down 500, however I even put 500 with the younger tellers and they still don't mention anything about drinks. When they just give it to me I tip. As others have said just ask. It will not hurt. I don't know what kind of response you're going to get putting 10 to 20 dollar bets though.

First post in several years, as I was checking a thing or two out with my profilt... but I just walked out of the South Point a bit ago. Generally speaking they will give you a drink ticket or two on any bet of $20 or more and will ask you (2 or 3 if $100 or more)...if you tip a few bucks when making a bet, they will fire you a few more drink tickets than they would if not. Those are stamped now and alas, expire about 2 or 3 days after you make the bet. But if you bet and drink there one night and plan on returning a day or two later (or are staying on property) then you can rathole a few if need be.
