Im goin from atlanta n a couple weeks. Do most sportsbooks allow to deposit and use in-house computers to bet instead of having to "go to the window?" Also where's the best place to stay? Can u get comp rooms anymore? any advice on cheap flights. ..hotels...flyin into LA...that kinda thing. This is kinduva dream come true for me

I've stayed at MGM, Luxor and Excalibur. MGM by far the best of those 3, Aria is also pretty sick, you'll have a blast no matter where you stay if it's your first time. Getting your room comped you gotta throw down big on blackjack or craps. Make friends with the pit bosses and they'll hook you up. Cheap flights and hotels try to book ultra last second. If you want to get drunk for the least amount of money sit in the penny slots and keep pounding beers. Have a blast! How old are you BTW?

Just got back from vegas. Found the sportsbook experience pretty awful. I'm primarily an ingame player and found one casino offering one nba game live.
If you ask me, offshore > vegas any day of the week.

I should add...that "one casino's ingame betting required you to go to the window during commercials to place a bet. No app, no nothing. So you basically have to run to the window in the 2 minute commercial to get your bet in.
People say vegas is the sports betting capital of the world, but sure as hell didn't seem like it to me.

So...booking last second huh? Is that where groupon comes. I used to see $25/night rms in summer...but not anymore. Also the way I play I cannot rely on going to the window at the last minute. I thought I saw on 60 minutes where a few books had an inhouse system where u made a deposit and played on their computers

I've stayed at a lot of plays chillin has. MGM, Excalibur, Harrahs and Flamingo. If you want to be at a little nicer hotel that won't kill your budget (if you have one), MGM is a good choice. Flamingo and Harrahs are nice, but nothing special, but easier on the wallet. Excalibur is really makes you feel like you are in the middle ages. It's dark and dreary and doesn't smell too good in the rooms either. Plus it's kind of far down the strip. For location Harrahs is the best of those because it's right smack in the middle of the strip. Great tip on penny slots. That's the way to get drunk. Play cheap slots, tip the lady 5 or 10 bucks right off the bat and tell her to keep coming back often. They'll bring you two at a time if you want or whatever. Not sure about betting I only placed bets at the window on full games.
I lived in LA for a bit and would advise against flying into LA and driving. Vegas is LA's playground as they call it and on Friday on I-15 all the traffic is on one side of the highway heading to Vegas while the other side is bare. On Sunday the opposite is true. Expect a ton of traffic. The flow is nice and it usually doesn't slow to a crawl but sometimes it does. You get to drive through the desert and for an east coast guy like myself the experience is amazing. So I guess it just depends on you. If you ever wanted to see the desert now's your chance. Although you could just rent a sports car on the strip. Rent a lambo!
Eat at Fat Burgers if you don't have one around where you live. Do not go to the restaurant named Diablos on the strip. My friends and me were calling it "Dea BLOWS" after we left. Do not arrange to go to a strip club with pushers on the street. We arranged to have a limo pick us up but they showed up with a crappy towncar or something and when we got to the strip club the place was huge but there were only like 1 or 2 people there besides us on a Friday. It was REALLY weird. If you do want go to a good strip club I recommend Sapphire. It's amazing!!! Beware. The girls there are trained to get your money and they're extremely good at it.
Hope that helps. Enjoy your trip! Let us know how it was.

when putting in your bets, if the dealer don't offer you some drink coupons ask for a couple of coupons. that's the only way you will be able to drink and enjoy your game in the sportsbook for free. other wise it might cost you $9 per drink.
GL to you.
P.S. always parlay your hard 8's LOL

Yeah...this is gonna b awesome!!!!!! Thx guys for the insight. How bout a place where I can deposit and play on inhouse computers? ? That's what I really really need because of the way I make plays....I can't rely on standing n line at the betting window. And my betting range will b $200-$1, 000/game if that makes a difference. I've kinda been saving up for this awhile with my system and really wanna start hitting it hard. I have enough of a bankroll to bet more...but I just wanna be responsible in the first couple trips and not let the "big lights" get to me.

Come on man.
You don't go to Vegas for in-game betting.
The sports book experience is OUTSTANDING, even the dumpiest ones on the end of the strip are a treat to be in.

You'll have to deal with windows to place bets man. No way around it.

Svalabrine...I swear I saw on 60 minutes with ted severansky......that he did it that way in one of the books. Maybe u have to have a minimum deposit. Maybe I should just make some phonecalls.

Some of the books are extremely nice, not arguing that. Personally I think the Aria and some of the smaller ones were better than the LVH but that's up for debate.
My point was that in todays day and age where ingame betting is becoming bigger and bigger, the "gambling capital of the world" should be able to offer more than they are currently offering. Hopefully, it's only a matter of time before they improve it. If you are not an ingame player/prop player you will have a great experience. No question.
