Question

I&#x27;ve been to vegas many many times. Never played golf out there. This July I&#x27;ll be heading out there again. Wanted to play a round of golf and would like some recommendations and experiences any of you might have. I usually stay at the palazzo or Cosmo maybe that might help. Thanks in advance.

If you want to take an hour drive north. Wolf Creek is by far the best course.

In town Bali Hai is a nice course right on the strip but very pricey.

Other great Courses: Bears Best, Revere, and Badlands

Played everywhere there is to golf in Vegas and couldn't disagree more with above poster.

Bali Hai garbage - overpriced bad greens stay away worst managed course in town.

Bears Best - average course overpriced. Badlands - same thing stay away.

Best tracks - Coyote Springs best course in or around town. Phenomenal

Paiute great facility 3 courses amazing clubhouse good deals for $$$

Primm Valley 2 courses great value for $$$

Revere is good but only Lexington course stay away from Concord

I have played a fair amount in Vegas and agree with refer.

Pauite Wolf and Coyote Springs were good courses and good value.

I wouldn't play Bali Hai for 1/2 of what they rip you off for. Badlands was in terrible shape the one time I played there but I thought it was an interesting track but overpriced.

Revere is the better course at Lexington.

Bear's Best was OK and a bit disappointing frankly.

Wolf Creek is spectacular as far as visual effects but I wasn't overly impressed as a golf course but it is a must play one time but I wouldn't go back. Pace of play can be an issue there too.

Last trip I played Spanish Trail and thought it had good value for the price I paid on Golf Now and is close to the Strip.

Been to Vegas dozen times and this year we decided to book a golf package. Looking at the Aria&#x27;s golf package. Something like $600 for 3 nights and 18 rounds of golf a day. Any info on golfing out there would be great.

Golf in July in VegasJust keep in mind that if you want to play at one of the courses at the big resorts, it is going to cost you as much as Pebble Beach.

Snow is personal favorite / water most holes great layout Wolf is hardest of 3 much more desert style course Sun is only one I would stay away from......very much resort senior style course very short

My Top 10 courses in Vegas for overall experience including price

1) Coyote Springs

2) Paiute Snow Course

3) Primm Lakes Course

4) Revere Lexington

5) Wolf Creek - if you have 8-9 hours for drive and round

6) Paiute Wolf Course

7) Rio Secco - if you can play off times and get decent rate

8) Bears Best

9) Rhodes Ranch - decent track for what it is

10) TPC Canyons

Must mention if you have private access Dragonridge is phenomenal and if $$$ isn't concern Shadow Creek and Cascata are once in lifetime experiences

Stay away and would not play any cost -Bali Hai any Walters golf properties for that matter. Badlands Tuscany Alliante Paiute Sun Revere Concord

Haven&#x27;t played golf in Vegas in a few years, but I heard that Lake Las Vegas closed down.  Is that true?  WTF?  That was a great track.

I played Primm years ago, it was quite a nice course but it seemed to be quite a haul to get out there from Vegas..

I love TPC Canyons, awesome track!Start early in July, you will have to be off the course by 11:00 , stinking hot!

July golf in Vegas is not bad at all. You will get a great rate at most places and between 6-10 am it's usually 80-90 deg and pretty pleasant. Hit me up when your coming and I'll give you the heads-up on what courses are in nice shape/ offering deals.

hey Jaybiz im leaving tommorrow for vegas, just wondering your recommendation for a golf course. Cheap($100) bringing the wives along, and no they dont really golf but want to come and swing some clubs and drink lol..anything close by..it doesnt have to be 5 star..thanks, coming all the way from Toronto

I&#39;d check out desert pines or Las Vegas national.  Have to disagree with the guy who said to avoid all Walters courses- DP has very nice bent greens, plush fairways, fairly close to downtown and $69-$150 rates depending on time of day. I really like national as far as layout - they had tour events there in 90s- conditions went downhill in recent years, but it&#39;s still a pretty cool track- played a few months ago and was decent.  Funky old 70s 80s Vegas neighborhood around it, the house from Casino, etc.
