Paris Las Vegas

Question

Hey guys, first post here in the vegas forum. Been to vegas acouple times, never stayed at the Paris. Went Harrahs Tahoe 3months ago and got one of those Total Rewards card and recently offered me two nights stay comp. at the Paris. Heading out next weekend. Just curious if any of you guys ever stayed there, and if you guys can offer any inputs of as far as room cleansiness, gambling, sports book? Thanks in advance

Stayed at Paris a couple of times. Rooms are clean and nice, most of the dealers and the crowds at the tables are cool, the sportsbook is okay, but you have to ask for drink tickets and they are not always generous with them. The restaurants are great and the location is fantastic. I like Paris.

upsides:the rooms are very nice and the place well situated on the strip.&#xD;&#xA;downsides: no poker room and the tiny sportsbook is an joke.

There is a huge poker room centered between the escalator to the Eiffel Tower and the Steakhouse and the sportsbook is every bit as big as the sportbooks at Bellagio, Ceasars, Bally&#x27;s, Harrah&#x27;s, etc....  Paris may have some downsides, but those aren&#x27;t it.

Paris has a poker room again? I stayed there when I went out for the last two wsops. In 2008, they had a small room in the sportsbook. It only had about six tables and usually only one or two small stakes games going a night. This year, that room no longer had tables in it, and was just extra seating for the sportsbook. I actually like the sportsbook. It's small, but it's empty (which I love) and they gave me a bunch of drinks.

I like the Paris as a place to stay. The location is great and it isn't crowded ever. The rooms are decent too. The pool is very ordinary, but it was fine for what I needed it for. If you're looking to party, you won't want to be there, but it's perfect for me (and free too).

I&#x27;ll let you guys know if a poker room does exist or if its no longer there. Heard alot of good and bad reviews of the buffet, especially the morning brunch, excited to see for myself. Any inputs on that?

Vinny - Paris is well located, and you can always cross the street for the buffet.  The sports book is small, but once again cross the street and go to the Bellagio.  Nice chairs, no drink tickets needed!  BTW - The rooms at the Paris are nice.....

&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;That&#x27;s the main appeal.  Great location.  The Bellagio is less then a minute away.  You can be at Caesar&#x27;s in less than five.

I was just there in Sept. The Poker room is gone.
