Just got back yesterday. Had an Awesome time as usuall!! Left Minneapolis Friday morning at 7:00am and arrived Las Vegas at 8:30am. Went to Imperial Palace to drop off my bags with the other 5 guys and headed over to the Venetian Sportsbook to check out lines and get the scoop. Sure enough they made you get drink tickets now (1 ticket for $50 worth of bets) we were all worked up but we still had plenty to drink over the weekend and by Sunday night we had 51 drink tickets left. I will get to that later! So, we were going to take a bus downtown (the duece) from the Venetian Sportsbook because some of the guys were cheap. Walked down Las Vegas boulevard all the way to Circus Circus waiting for a bus and one never came! Pretty cool we walked by the Frontier and saw them getting it ready for the implosion they did this morning! Finally got downtown at 10:00am and went to the El Cortez - what a hole! Lost $150 playing Roulette...Then started playing Blackjack. Won the $150 back plus about $250 more and we doing great and went on a losing streak. Ended up dumping $600 in that shit hole but I was totally drunk by 5:00pm when we went back to the Venetian to watch NBA action. In 7 hours probably had 15 beers but was STUPID ASS DRUNK and was already $600 in the hole!! Won a couple bets in the NBA - Celtics YES! At midnight I was so tired and drunk from getting up at 4am I went back to the hotel and went to sleep. 4 of the guys went to the Spearmint Rhino and had a blast and got in at 3:30am.
End of day 1 in Vegas.
Down $500 - But Drunk and had a great time!

Day 3 - Got up at 7:30 AM (Slept in a bit) and headed back to the Venetian to get spots for the NFL Sunday which started at 10! Got our same seats in the 3rd row right in front of the biggest screen! Got Breakfast - Bacon, eggs, hashbrowns and toast from the Venetian food court. Awesome as usuall! Then NFL betting!! Had a Great day and could have been a totally AWESOME day but lost BIG on the Giants! Fucking refs and their Holding calls. Dallas is the better team but the Giants were right there and could have WON that came but choked! Watched some Awesome Games! The Browns and Steelers was Awesome - Won a nice Parlay on the 2nd half with the Steelers -7.5 and the Over!! YES - Big Ben running for 30 yards into the End zone and that 99 yard punt return by the Browns - UNREAL! Watched the Packers kill the Vikings and cleaned up. My biggest bet was on the Jags +4.5 vs. the Titans and that was a very nice WIN! Took Denver +1 second half vs. the Chiefs and won that! Small bets on Arizona and Atlanta and won a nice BIG bet on the Eagles! Man that was an Awesome run by Westbrook to break the game open! Then took a major hit on the Giants which sucked but made money back with that Great performance by Peyton Manning with 6 Ints - 2 returned TD's for the Charges - Won on the game with the Chargers +4 and then the Colts 2nd half -7 so that was a great way to finish the day!! Once again got totally drunk drinking beer after beer all day and now back to my story on the 51 remaining drink tickets. So they wouldn't go to waste we started ordering 2-3 drinks at a time, shots you name it. Basically left when we were completely Shit faced at 10pm when the sportsbook shut down because everything was done and we had 2 drink tickets left. So, in that last hour between 6 guys we each had about 8 drinks or shots in that last hour after drinking all day! We were completely shattered! Then it was off to the Spearmint Rhino... VERY NICE!! WOW

Got there with no problem, easily through security - nobody was there and went and slept by the gate for an hour. Then woke up and had breakfast, read the USA today smiling about all of my winning NFL bets (Except those fucking Giants). Got on the plane by 6:30 and left for home! Slept all most the whole flight home and got back to Minneapolis at Noon with $500 more then I left with! ALL in all a great trip! There are always a few things I would do different like not going to the El Cortez ever again - Not pounding so many college football games (not as good at College as NFL) and not putting SO Much on the Giants! But I liked them, Bucky and rush both liked them too! That was a BUMMER! Otherwise a great trip that went WAY too fast like they always do. Went to sleep at 6:30pm last night and slept until 5:00am when my alarm went off and got up showered and back to work!
I still think a Covers weekend in Vegas would be Awesome! We would have any Sportsbook rocking and it would be cool to put some more faces to names. It was nice meeting MWC and it would be cool to meet others! Take care and can't wait to head back to Vegas again!!

Nice to see that you had a fun and profitbale tripp... I tried to get a covers weekend in vegas but it never came to fruition... I will be in LV in the begining of April if anyone wants to go...

Thanks guys! It was a fun trip and went way too fast. I wish I would have listened to you asloper6001 and taken the Cowboys - My trip would have been that much better!! I would still be up for a covers weekend this spring maybe for March madness?? We should really work on it - try to get sponsors and have Covers promote it! Don't know if it will happen but it would be a blast! A local radio station KQRS 92.5 FM is flying out there tomorrow to do their show from Vegas on Thursday and Friday and they take 2 planes full of listeners - it is a huge deal. Costs $699 a person (kind of high) but you get some free stuff etc. We could totally put something together!

The woman at the Rhino are 10+ There are a couple in the 7-9 range but most are off the charts! The options are $100 for 3 songs, $200 for 1/2 hour and $400 for an hour or just find a chair for the old $20 lap dance! It is REALLY crowded on Friday & Saturday night! GOOD LUCK but well worth it!

WOW - to be young again! I didn't go to Vegas for the first time until I was 29 (acutally went on my 29th birthday). It is a Totally strange place but Awesome!

Like I said above a push in Vegas is a WIN! I have still never won a slot machine or had a big run at a table. Usually the only reason I break even is the Sportsbook and a Great Sunday is what got me ahead this trip as well!
