my buddies and i got free rooms at the mandalay bay for superbowl weekend. never been there that weekend and heard of how crazy and busy it gets so wondering:
where are the best superbowl parties or places to watch the game???any packages or specials???

I go to Vegas every year for superbowl week with my buddies. The best place to watch the game by far is Excaliber sportsbook. FREE BEER!!!!! need i say anything else? there arent any parties anymore cause NFL wont allow the really. U may find 1 somewhere but Excaliber and all sportsbooks are free to watch.

I dont know if you could call them parties. What they are is a place to watch the game with a big group of people. In the past the MGM has opened up one of their theaters and you watch the game on a huge movie screen. Several years back I went to one at the Hilton, basically it was like $40/person, they put you in a giant convention center, must have been a thousand people, lots of big circular tables set up, a bunch of huge movie screens around. It was a lot of fun but not worth the money because all they serve you is bad beer from a keg and stadium food like hot dogs, chips and pretzels. They ran out of beer though.
Better off watching it at a big sportsbook even if you have to stand the whole time. You've never seen so much excitement from everyplay when you are around so many people, especially with all the bets and prop bets.
