Vegas November 1st-5th!

WOOOOOOO!!!!! Pumped! 

Never been to Vegas during football season. Flying in Friday, November 1 and staying until Tuesday the 5th. I have a friend that recently moved out there to teach and I am gonna stay with her to save some $$$ by not renting a hotel room. My flight was a little pricey but it's all good. Looking forward to betting the NFL FINALLY. College football will be fun too but nothing like the NFL. My friend lives 3 miles from the strip so it should work out nicely 

Let me know if any of you guys will be in town during that time period. Now it's time for me to put my nose to the grindstone and save my $$$.

Nice - enjoy yourself - I'm more of a college player but NFL always brings lots of excitement and full sports books - anything that generates goodwill in the name of gambling is a good thing, most importantly tho your time - see the sites - take in as much as you can

I'm thinking about trying out Pai Gow for the 1st time...any advice/input on this idea?

Stick to blackjack and craps.  If you do want to go Pai Gow, read up on it here and study the charts:

you see, i know people like you are cool and it's not a bad thing to meet online like you said, etc but lets say i knew that 99% of the 100 going to a function were going to be alright, but the fact that the possibility of that 1 causes me not want to go.  I know it's really stupid and most of the time everything turns out really good and everyone has a lot of fun but 1 single person who doesn't know how to control themselves with the free beer vegas will have to offer, just really kills it for me.

it's like this, when i'm watching the tv in the sportbooks, i wanna really have a good asss fuckin time.  i wanna pump my fists, jump up and down and get very emotional over a stupid touchdown because that's just fun to me.  And it's not like i sit in a section that's supposed to be all raiders fans when i'm pulling for the colts either.

That is also Breeder's Cup weekend, the best week of the year to bet the ponies.

I'm generally more of a cash game player for sure. Never had too much success in tourneys.

I'll be out there from Nov. 1-3.  Got comp'd some Shania tix and room at Ceaser's. 

That weekend is going to be non-stop crazy action.  I'm in a horse handicapping tournament, gonna bet the college and NFL, likely gonna enter one Deep Stack Extravaganza tourney,  MLB playoff action, throw in some Blackjack, Craps, and Pai Gow.  It's gonna be nuts. 

If you're looking for a spot to bet the games, I recommend the Bellagio.  I'll be marinating there any chance I get.

Good stuff man. I have never been to the Bellagio sportsbook or poker room. I will probably shoot you a message, how old are you out of curiosity?

Sounds like a lot going on that weekend. Been to Vegas during football season and March Madness and there is no better time if you like to sports bet. 

Cool that the Breeders Cup is the same weekend. You can spend the afternoon betting the ponies on Saturday. The Breeders Cup usually produces some good Payouts.

Thanks buddy! I visit your baseball thread pretty much daily and have been following it for quite some time. I think there will be a World Series game during that time as well  Let me know if you have any ponies you like in the Breeders Cup and/or any opinions you have on that baseball game and NFL games. I appreciate all opinions (from everyone)

I'll be out there Halloween thru the 5th.  Third time this football season and can't wait to get back.  Gambling through an online book is hell once you experienced the book.  Not sure where I'm staying, narrowed it down to the Palms, LVH or MGM Grand.  Good luck with your gambling when you're in town bro!

Thanks man, you too! I'll be playing a decent amount of poker at the MGM I think. I've read their room is full of fish...

My opinion that is the best sports weekend in Vegas.
I love to bet the ponies and you have football as possibly a world series game...

Bellagio sportsbook is great just last year when I was their the Big Tv were old school not HD..
