I love horse racing and NCAAF but nothing like the NFL. I'll probably just throw 20 bucks on a live longshot in the Breeders Cup Classic for fun, they seem to do well in the Classic. SO, I don't think I want to spend 2 straight days in a sportsbook. I was thinking of spending Sunday (at least part of it) at the LVH to watch some NFL...I have read nothing but good things about it so I figured I would check it out. Unless some one could give me any better suggestions?!
Also, I just learned that IF the World Series goes 7 games then game 7 will be on Halloween night, the night before I leave which sucks but oh well.
The main thing that I am worried about is that my flight leaves NC at 6am on Friday morning with a short layover in Atlanta and I arrive in Vegas roughly 9:45am Vegas time. I have to work until 8:30pm the night before I leave and have to get up about 3:30am on Friday to make it to the airport on time etc. My question is...what do you guys reccommend to fight exhaustion and fatigue on Friday when I get to Vegas/later that day. I know I will be amped to be there. My buddies flight gets in around 3pm Vegas time from Houston. I was gonna go to the MGM and play poker I think just to kill time as I wait for them (poker will be my main choice of gambling this trip by the way). I'm just afraid I am gonna be DRAGGING MY behind come Friday evening. Any ideas on how to avoid this? Thanks fellas!
