Where can you get the best airfare/hotel combo price for a trip to Vegas

I doubt any of the official vegas.com websites would give a great deal....or at least not the best
 
i am going with 4 or 5 friends in a few months.  we leave from philly.  we are looking for the best deasl for the airline/hotel combo
 
i already went but last time my boy got a joke of a deal and i was too dumb to realize it and change.  ened up paying like 800 for 4 nights and round trip.  now i hear of people paying 400
 
anybody have any sugguestions?  what should we epect to pay each?  we are trying to go for 3 or 4 nights

I would check expedia. I booked vegas going next week. I have airfare and 2 nights for 450 other 2 nights i got comped. The 2 nights on expedia are for golden nugget and comped room is at paris.Thought that was a good deal though.You should check it out though , it really depends on where you are looking to stay as to the price. Sometimes booking them seperate works out better. The MonteCarlo always runs deals and flights are never too expensive

prefer 2 but would live with 1 if it was much cheaper

If Southwest fly's outta there...try Swa Vactions.com....its Southwest website where you can book the whole package...room & airfare. And its cheaper to book it with 2 people going. My girl & I fly outta Hoston to Vegas at least twice a year. And you can find some great deals on there...also play around with the dates and the pricing will change. Weekends are a lil more expensive, druing the week you could stay pretty damn cheap! We went last May, stayed at the Luxor on a Thur-Sun and it was around 420 $ a piece. Pick a different hotel thats not as pricy say Tropicana, or off the strip somewhere and you could really go for alot less!
 
Oh and play around with the flight times also...if its a really early flight or a really late one coming back, some times you can knock off an extra 30 or 40 bucks.
 
Anyway I always book thru there and you will get on there mailing list after the trip and they send out quite a few really good deals for doing buis with them in the past

Book 1 room. Get 2 keys. They won't know how many people are in the room. People do this all the time, I have done it. That will save you money. Search online for online discounts for hotels because you will need to book your hotel room seperately from your airfare if you do it this way. I booked a room at Bally's for $73.00 per person.
 
American Airlines has been pretty good. I just booked 4 non-stop flights in March for $311.00.
 
Total Trip cost: $384.00 per person

swavacations...however vegas is basically giving rooms away because of the economy...so just southwest and a room shouldn't be that much

I just got a flight on Christmas Day RT for $416 , staying 7 days ..
 
My friend has comped room at a Harrahs property for the whole stay

Just booked Four Queens through expedia and saved over $100 from travelocity and vegas,com.  217.00 for air and four nights jan 18-22 from minneapolis.  Too cheap to pass up.  Binions was only $207 but the queens was rated much higher and I've stayed there before.

you guys just missed the deal . southwest was 50 percent off on new years. im flying out for the superbowl. chicago to vegas. 80 each way. thurs-monday. hotel was 175 for 4 nights at ballys. don't tell them you have four ppl. just two ppl. they will comp u 2 days also.

Wow from minny to vegas is still up at 207.00 jan 18-22 at Binions.  Queens must have filled up because that's gone.   Going to Hooters on wednesday to see Slayton after dinner at Todais.  Otherwise we will be downtown playing craps and betting college hoops.  Not much else going on that week but I guess thats why it was so cheap.  week before superbowl must be a good time to go on the cheap.

Best way is to book your flight well ahead of time and wait 2wks prior to your travel to book for hotel as vacancy is a norm right now in Vegas.
 
Superbowl weekend will be crazy so your going to pay an arm/leg regardless.

SOUTHWEST out of RDU ,,great rates and simply fantastic departure times, throw in the fact its non-stop and this is the only way to go out of RDU--
