I was shut down by William Hill today. The BS corporate reasoning was, "based on your account history, we have decided that we no longer want your action..." So I had to go withdraw all my funds and sign up for a different mobile app account.
I will no longer be giving William Hill a cent of action at the live books, because to me this is utterly ridiculous. I understand if I was up $100k on them or something, but we're talking a roughly $8k profit in 2 months. Nothing that anyone hasn't done before. I understand my 67.9% win rate since June 1st (out of 190 bets) is out of this stratosphere, but it can easily turn right around starting any given day.
Oh well, if I do go on a downswing, then at least the other place I signed up for will get my action and not them. Just putting it out there that if you bet at William Hill, don't win too much on the app or you'll get cut off. Word of mouth can be a b*tch, so I hope this will deter some folks away from them. I'll be contacting one of higher ups at some point, in an attempt to get a more direct reason why they felt the need to cut my action off, and letting him know how I feel about it.

WilliamHill.lv still operates like a typical online 'recreational' service, trying exceeding hard to penetrate the LV sports betting market. believe me, this isn't the first time I've heard scenarios pertaing to the ridiculous operation tactics of WilliamHill.lv I myself checked them out a couple years ago (using their vast Int sports format) I basically left the service when they refused to take a twin parlay wager for $500..a wager that every book in Vegas accepted, with the exception of WH...fuckem' don't even waste your time, or effort contacting the 'higher ups' they could care less...congratulations on your 68%
If your going to app in LV.....Cantor is the only way to go, they are the innovators, this would never happen at any Cantor SportsBook

Thanks for the info. I went with Boyd for now. Kind of a trial run period. There are pros and cons to it compared to the assets I did have with WH. No in-game, but the hours I can bet start at 6 AM instead of 8 AM. I can also go to Orleans to make my cash transactions in a matter of 5 minutes. So I like those things. I will miss in-game, but that could end up a blessing. Also the 15 cent lines on 5 innings in MLB I don't like.

I have four apps. CG Tech (Cantor), NSB (South Point), Westgate and William-Hill. of the four the ONLY one that has In Game LIVE betting on baseball and NHL during their season is William-Hill. will agree with sports_Network that CG is pretty good for betting baseball BUT overall Westgate seems to have the best lines BUT they shut the app down early at night when the physical book closes. IF you are paying a 15 cent line at Boyd, you are getting screwed. IF you can no longer use William-Hill I would say CG. IF you are close to Orleans you could deposit at the Palms which is one of their sportsbooks

If you bet MLB dogs, check out Stations App. I dislike the new format/upgrade though. They used to have 1 button that showed all the beta for the day regardless of sport. I wish they still had it. I loved seeing all MLB, NBA. MLS, Euro Soccer and etc options.

Innovators? lol, they don't have the software to handle more than one or maybe two games of in-play per night. William Hill is the only company in Vegas with the capabilities to handle the amount of in-play they offer. Cantor app is fine, but nothing compared to William Hill's.

Cantor handles every NBA NFL NHL MLB game 365 days a year, the software the WH uses is a dinosaur by Nevada gaming standards. I think you first should distinguish the difference between Cantor: which is 'live' in game wagering, and WilliamHill which is simply 'in game' wagering. It's quite clear, your knowledge in this area is limited, and I'm not going to exhaust myself explaining in a 500 word essay the difference between live, and in game...you evidently have never used either system or you wouldn't make the statements relating to such, however, many who read, and follow this forum use Cantor 'live' and understand the supreme difference; are you simply trying to argue to gain attention? because what you say does not make sense...try Cantor, and come back and tell the forum how much fun it was, and your ludicrous commentary will be forgiven...now move on to reality, and relieve yourself from that stick you've shoved up your azz..

Within all of this dribble, are you trying to tell me Cantor has a more extensive in-game wagering options than William Hill? I really am not sure what you are getting at. I work in the industry out here. I have Cantor, South Point, William Hill, Westgate, Wynn, and Stations apps. William Hill has by far the most extensive betting menu and in-game wagering. It's not a debate. Not really sure what your gripe is.

I have no gripe whatsoever, especially with you... I agree, WH does have a large menu of Intl sports to wager on, I also agree to the fact that they refuse a lot of action that the majority of books do not...and as the OP has stated, they shut down accounts upon a whim, also as stated, they refuse to deal with high wagering Twin Parlays, and yes, by far, Cantor's software is supreme in comparison to WH's,, btw, for whatever it means, I also work in the industry, have been for the past 23 years..you're not wrong, just mis-informed

Anyone having problems with there account right now? Let me wager this mourning now it's saying wagering not permitted?
they were having all kinds of tech problems Tuesday the 13th doing a site "upgrade". they finally got it fixed late in the evening. I will say one thing for William-Hill. they gave me a $25 credit for the "inconvenience" which is more than either Westgate or Cantor Gaming do when THEY go down. with them it is just "tough sh!t"

Oh just an update: I earned $91 on their summer rewards program. Would have been the full $100 if they didn't cut me off. They didn't honor that, and I got stiffed on a reward I earned. How convenient.

Fact is that william hill absorbed a lot of the hold over employees from LEROYS and the majority of them were incompetent boobs and what
is said that they do want low roller type players that will use their welfare checks to play 25 cent round robin parlays, you know the scum of boulder highway and koval lane.
Not to long ago I actually contacted them about a wagering question even though I knew the answer as I worked in a strip book as a oddsmaker for ten years to see what they may have to say and the answer I got was 100 percent wrong on all accounts and the guy who answered my question was a LEROYS Leftover.
Its really said that I have been out of the race and sports industry for eleven years now and I could go back in today and run a book the right way, and do so much a better job than the clowns in it today.

Hello, fellows.. Is it any posibility I can open an account for William Hill if I.m from Germany?
I do NOT know German sports betting laws and rules BUT I have heard most EU countries do NOT limit online betting like here in the United States. I would check. there may be a German online site you can use OR check www.williamhill.co.uk
