but The Steakhouse at Circus Circus is very, very good
 
fairly pricy but fantastic steakhouse IMO

Rao's is so good it's criminal 
 
The whole "wine fairy" thing at Aeorole at Mandalay never gets old, plus it's the best place ever to check out the talent as it walks in
 
The Del Taco just on the West side of the 15 (is that Flamingo?) is classic on a Fri or Sat night.
 
but the best?    In and Out Burger baby!

I agree about Del Frisco's for steaks - the best I've been to in Vegas...lots of wood and brass, and room for cigars & cognacs...if you like that kind of thing (I do!)....

Best at 3am - Burger Bar Mandalay Bay
Best if you want to spend $1,000 per person - Guy Savoy Ceasars
 
WORST - STAY AWAY FROM MIX at Mandalay Bay bad experience after bad experience.

Grand Wok at the MGM Grand is a new addition to my list .

Big portions, Vegan friendly. Huge bowls of soup and gigantic portions of everything. Not the cheapest place but you get your $ worth (I had comps but still)

The Carnival Buffet at the RIO is, and has been, the best buffet in Vegas for years now.

Del Frisco's off the Strip is good for steak.

Piero's off the Strip is good for Italian and Steaks.

Firefly is a VERY popular local joint not too far from the Hard Rock.  The place is packed way into the middle of the night.  They specialize in Tapas.

for the mentally challenged....no one and I mean no one that can afford a good meal in Vegas, or anywhere else in the world....would include a buffet


and for the record, Vegas is the home of the best buffets in the world....but that wasn't the question that was to answered

The steak dinner at Ellis Island has gone up in price to $6.99, but it is still the best deal in Vegas.

  I disagree, I went there just for the buffet and was disappointed.It was just allot of cafeteria food. Ohhh, a taco bar, big deal.

Delmonico Steakhouse at Venetian was fucking awesome! Had the Filet Mignon(sp) and I don't think I will EVER have another one as good as that one!

Rao's @ Caesar's - the lemon chicken is to die for
Nero's @ Caesar's - the lollipop chop
