Bellator story/ UFC fight night 5-14

i hate betting bellator but actually had a great day with it today.  I had work to do around the house and didn't realize it was on until a few fights in.  Took both dogs in the women's fight and idk what was up with Fanduel but the Weichel-Whiteford had already ended and it was still available to bet, i put everything i had left in my account on it and they paid me out

The very next fight was Biyong-Trainer and i was looking at the upcoming matches for Bellator on my BetMGM account.  Biyong floored him at the start of the 2nd round and was on top of him trying to finish and the live odds were Biyong +310, so i jumped on that and it was accepted luckily he was able to get the decision.

I feel like i stole money today....probably because i did. 

I live in PA and a few years back when Fanduel sportsbook became legal in my state, their NBA live odds would sometimes not update for O/U.  So two teams could have 95 combined points at halftime on a 229.5 pre-game line and the 229.5 line was still available to play (-110).  It was like stealing for the first couple weeks of that year until Fanduel fixed the problem.

Anyway....it was a busy day, i'll post my plays tomorrow before the fights go down. Best of luck to everyone

 Bellator is always bad news for me except for yesterday.

I thought Carlos Candelario and Alan Patrick looked like hell yesterday at weigh-ins.

really torn on what play to make in Petroski-Maximov...won't know until fight time.

Taira by sub (+200)

Michael Johnson by TKO/KO (+250)

Lee-Araujo NOT go distance (+200)

Torres by TKO/KO +165 or Torres ML

Ribas (+145)  big fight for Ribas and this is her 2nd fight at flyweight (subbed Paige Van Zant in her other one during the 'fight island' days)  Ribas says she feels much stronger at this weight class and i'm happy she made this decision and think more fighters should do so.

Smolka by Sub (+650) everytime grant has been finished has been by sub.  Grant came into the game as a wrestler, but as he got older has kept to the stand-up which is interesting.  I don't think this one lasts all too long.

Spann by TKO/KO (+400)  i think it's his only path to victory against Cutelaba.  in 1st round it's (+850) hmmmm. Still think Cutelaba wins the fight if it gets past 1st round.

Rakic by decision (+200)

happy to get the win, but Johnson shoulda had that dude outta there a lot quicker.  Patrick was rushing in with his hands down, very lazy technique....MJ looked slow and old, will be looking to fade him depending his next fight

I had some degenerate parlays with MJ to win in 60 seconds or less...almost had him there about 20 seconds in lol

i don't think Lee liked that body shot to start round 2...that's why she dove for the legs

great scrap between the ladies!  Both of their stocks went up in my book

Nascimento by Sub (+500)....i think Hadley is good and if i had to pick a straight winner i'd take him, but 5 to 1 for a Nascimento sub is too good to pass up.  It's really his best pathway to win and he will likely be fighting off his back and Hadley's inexperience might hurt him
