Who do you like to win this toss-up of a fight? I'll give my official pick after the weigh-in.
@Redlad
The fact that McGregor is + money SHOULD Irritate the F*** out of him IF he has any pride and it isnt just about getting 1 more pay check. If he wins he has a potentialntitle,fight AND Diaz part 3 in his future to set up generations of McGregors he will never see (unless Irish inheritance laws are confirmatory, always a possibility).
If he stays +, I plan on throwing some $$$ on him. Figure the Irish are ready to travel, and his who can't take another loss. Then again, I am an Irish homer, so same points may be made for Dustin, but at - money on a toss up, I will go,for the dog with the immense ego.
Cheers,

McGregor is a bum. He hasn’t fought anybody.Nate Diaz won both those flights he got fucking robbed. Have you watched Dustin Poirier recent fights Dustin beat the living shit out of Max Holloway the champion. Did you see Holloway face He staggered Holloway at least six times I don’t know how he didn’t go down believe me McGregor cannot take a beating or a punch like that Poirier is going to destroy fucking McGregor and finish his fucking career

I gotta go with Poirier here,I just think he is gonna be a lot hungrier then the guy who already has all the fame and money.I'm interested in seeing the weigh in also,just to kind of see shapewise,how seriously Conor is taking this fight.

Yeah, the weigh in will be crucial. IF it looks like McGregor is taking this seriously (he can have all the money he wants, dude still ahs an ego and I think he wants to be able to talk like he is a badass). I think Dustin will come in looking ready to go, usually not an issue with him. He gets up for all his fights, Conor seems to get up for the ones he deems "big". I still think he is looking at a couple of "BIG" (money and prestige) fights after this, but in my opinion, he needs to win this one for those to be viable. Yeah, he can still have Diaz Pt 3 and maybe some other "boxing/exhibition" type thing, but if he is on a losing/down streak, interest and $ goes down, substantially.
IF he can prove he is still a player in the MMA game, he can call his shots, a big IF, but at + money, he might be worth a gamble (hell, that is why they call it gambling right?). I just want to see a card full of decent fights in front of fans, after the past year and a half, that isn't too much to ask :)

mcgregor going to knock dustin ass out.
mcgregor was not himself in the last fight , he was too timid .. he’s pissed off now
mcgregor going to beat dustin this time
line will probably be mcgregor -105 by fight time

This is extremely casual.

Since I started this thread, I might as well tell you who I'm betting & why. I watched the press conference & thought McGregor made a total ass out of himself, as usual. If he thinks he can intimidate Poirier after just getting his ass handed to him by Dustin, he must be nuts. McGregor has two things going for him. 1. He's an excellent striker. 2. The majority of the crowd will be rooting for him. Other than that, I can't see anything else that would lead me to believe he will win this fight. His ground game is non-existent while Poirier holds a black belt in Brazilian Jujitsu. I thought the person who made the point that Diaz might have won both fights with McGregor has some merit. If Diaz wasn't such a bleeder, he definitely would have won those two fights. Who has McGregor beaten recently that was an all around fighter? No one I can think of in the last few years. Look, he was good for the UFC because his Braggadocio made him a very popular name. I think the fight with Cowboy was a farce, because I don't believe Cowboy was even trying to win it. He was just there for a payday. But, what really bothered me about McGregor's last fight with Poirier is the fact that once he went down, he just outright quit. He never tried to get up or fight back. If a fighter quits once, he surely will do it again, and I don't want to put my money on someone that shows no heart, when their losing. So, my money will also go on Poirier -120. Win or lose, I would never bet on McGregor in this fight. GLTA!

You can’t tell me these are not fixed Nate Diaz fought Edwards the champion Diaz was getting his ass kicked in the last round Diaz landed a punch square to Edwards jaw abd stunned him bad Edwards eyes just rolled back in his head went against the ropes what does Diaz do he looks at the crowd points at Edwards and laughs instead of jumping on him and finishing him up which he could’ve done if that fight wasn’t fixed and you don’t believe it was fixed then you’re a fool

@dustmiester
Cause it wasn’t the last minute of the 5th round right? You act like these dudes have unlimited gas tanks. Triathlons or not, Diaz was winded and wounded.

My observations after the weigh in and face off. Both look to be in good shape, no advantage there. The face off, Conor throwing a weak kick...too far into the rivalry for any jead games,to work now, IMHO. If anything, Dustin feeling pretty good as,long as he can tune,out all the noise.
So I went to my online book thinking either jump on Dustin at a nice -120 (or less if all the last minute casual money comes,in on Mac), or maybe,throw a little on Mac,if #s get high enough. Instead I see -130 (and finish perhaps) on Dustin and only a +110 on Mac. WTF, the perfect No Win scenario. Will check back afte a while and see,if things move either way.Right now, too tight to bet. May just have to watch it with no $ on the line :(

Mate what? Conor should be even more of an underdog then he is. Vegas is just blinded by their love for him. He has ONE win in the last FIVE years. 3-3 in his last 6. Dustin is a fighter and Conor is a showman.

No fights are worth the PPV prices that are being charged to watch any fight. Wait a couple of days & you'll be able to watch it for free on the internet. I'm watching it over a friend's house who has a lot of cash, so it doesn't matter to him.
