understood but my book is not offering Shields by sub (not yet at least)
I am getting a world class fighter that finally gets his BIG shot. I don't believe that he should be favored, but I do like 3.5 times my money if he can win.
That Gracie camp is hot right now.
GSP IS THE MAN. He should win. However, I am betting against this occuring.

if this goes to decision, i cant see Shield at all winning it... How can shields win by decision? his standup is subpar, i dont think his 'mma' wrestling is nearly as good as gsps... GSP almost never loses a round, and gets so many takedowns so easily its crazy..

I think +350 is great value for a guy that hasn't lost a fight in 7 years...And during those 7 years he fought quite a few good fighters...
I don't when his only way is a submission. And he will have one hell of a time getting GSP down in teh first place. Then he actually has to submit him. He didn't sub Hendo or Kampmann. They are far easier to submit than GSP. Do you really think he has a shot at controlling GSP for 5 rounds?
Shields is a great grappler. But its nmot like he has some super list of submissions over guys with any ground game. You can sub Daley, Lawler, annd Nick Thompson...many guys can.
If a guys only shot is submission, and he will have a hard time dictating where the fight takes place. And is facing a guy well versed in BJJ...I don/'t like his chances at all. His chances are the submission equivalent of a hail mary haymaker.
