Ok, let's just skip all the bs and get to the real point here.
I DON'T GET THIS LINE.......Last time they fought Faber went off in the -400 / -500 range at most books. What do we know now that we didn't know then......
1- Brown has KO punching power ( knew that already )
2- Faber can get caught ( knew that already )
3- Faber isn't unbeatable ( knew that already )
4- Brown is a hell of a fighter and a great talent who can beat Faber ( knew that already )
I see Faber as the far superior fighter here, more tested, more impressive wins over tougher competition........1st go round he got caught being to "flashy" and tried to throw a spinning back fist and got his head KO'd in the process......I don't see that happening again if the ridiculously overcinfident Faber doesn't show up tonight and I don't see how he could..........Keep in mind prior to his 1 punch KO by Brown Faber was 21-1 with his only loss to Tyson Griffin back in 2005.
What I look at in this fight is that IF you completly forget about the 1st fight and Brown's victory this line should be in the -250 / -300 range so how do you pass up the kind of value that exists at -120.
And I know there will those of you that will come in and say how can you completly forget about the first fight.....look if the first fight was a 5 round dominant performance then you can't forget about it. Hell even if it was a 2-3 round dominanent performance you can't forget about it but it wasn't it was a 1 punch KO and that can happen to anyone so I do think you can forget about the first fight and go back to my earlier question.....WHAT DO WE KNOW NOW WE DIDN'T KNOW THEN ???? NOTHING.....SO WHY THE LINE ???
p.s. ...... I had Brown in the first fight using the same logic as above so I am not a brown hater or faber fan club member.
Best of luck tonight with the card, above is just 1 man's prospective........

The line is what it is because Brown is a way bigger, stronger and more technical fighter than Faber. Brown works at American Top Team with monsters like Thiago Alves and Gleison Tibau,. Denis Kang, Thiago Silva... all beasts at their respective weight classes. Brown is way too big, way too powerful and has better stand-up than Faber. This is an overall bad matchup for Urijah as he is way too reckless with his style of fighting.. kind of like Clay Guida used to be. I see Brown controlling the fight by taking Faber to the ground, wearing him out and eventually win by TKO.
The line is what it was on Nov 5th was because the general fan didn't know about Brown and the line was set accordingly to get both sides of action. The line tonight is perfect due to getting action on both sides. One thinking the win was a fluke and will take Faber, adn the other taking Brown due to the fact he should be the favorite and should retain his belt.

The thing is, Brown was completely winning the fight even before Urijah tried that flashy elbow. It's like saying AA vs Rogers II should still have AA at -250 because he was -450 this time. Next time, I'd see the same thing happening all over again. I just don't think Urijah has the tools to beat Brown.
