He disrespected the entire sport with that garbage.  And to anyone who ever felt he would beat Jon Jones - you were all smoking CRACK.  Jones would've annihilated him.  He's too big.

Silva was trying to be a showman and showed weidman no respect at all in that ring.... he must feel like a real idiot deep inside now despite what he says.... it would have been ok to lose but to lose like that because u were playing around in the ring and then u get caught is just terrible for him and really upsetting to me as a fight fan.

The other weird thing was in round 1 when Silva had him clinched by the cage just the way he likes to and threw zero knees to the body.  It was totally available for him and he knew it was.  I don't think it was fixed, it just seems like old school Silva from a few years back when he was doing the same stuff

Basically like someone else said in this thread, it seems more like a f-you to the UFC and Dana and he doesn't give a care about defending the title anymore apparently.

Why insult people? you could say the same sh!t without being an a$$ .. I guess that's just who you are.. besides the name calling and insults I agree with you. The kid kept focused to his game plan and caught Silva why clowing around.... The strange thing about IMO was the interview.. If you screw up and know that you got caught for being stupid and disrespecting your opponent wouldnt you want an immediate rematch? WHy continue fighting if you don't want the belt? His words were pretty strange to me! He said I dont want a rematch he is the champ now I made my money and that's it ..

Revenge for chael who did his own toying with silva in the 1st fight and gifted Anderson that fight and then gifted Silva his 2nd str. 1 year ago.

That **** doesn't belong in the ring, once or twice to get the crowd going and for showmanship I can accept, but he was disrespecting Weidman the whole fight...

His legs are parallel and even after a couple of close calls he refuses to bring his guard up, its a great angle to work, "Silva got too cocky and the clowning caught up to him", but that looked a bit shady to me...

It was completely legit, give me a break. Weidman is the better man right now and a lot of us knew that. He paid for his antics because Weidman was the first person who was very good all around and could capitalize on them. I don't think Silva wants the rematch mainly because he believes he would lose again. He knew what he was up against. Jon Jones becomes P4P king, and rightfully so. C'mon now, anyone who thought Silva would beat him is crazy. The opening line was between -300 and -375 and I feel Jones would've taken that fight 9/10 times. If we thought and knew Weidman was a nightmare matchup for Silva, consider Jones.

100% this.  Anyone calling fix or "fishy" on this is an idiot.  Silva does this shlt all the time, it looked like Weidman was breathing heavy and kind of slowing down, it was no surprise to see Anderson turn it up and start f*cking around.

That said I cashed on Weidman and am still in shock, that was without a doubt the craziest thing I have seen in 9 years as a fan.

Fix for sure I guess you missed Silva's eyes rolled to the back of his skull. I give all the credit to Weidman for whooping his behind and bringing the belt back the USA Only amateurs fight with their hands down except for one legend Cassius Marcellus Clay

Silva probably though Weidman was a lesser fighter like Bonnar. But had no idea Weidman had knockout power.

If this is true, then why wouldn't Silva want a rematch with Weidman?  To me, his interview after the fight makes this whole thing suspicious to me.

The line drop late with Weidman money pouring in was huge. I am not a conspiracy guy but clearly Silva's camp knew he was going into the fight basically no caring if he lost or not.

A motivated Silva would have crushed Weidman.

Whoa. Just watched it. WTF was Silva doing?!?!? He's always clowning guys but this was ridiculous. 

For all you who lost money on Silva what you think was a fix: It wasn't fixed. Watch Silva fights. Silva does that all the time this time he went too far and got caught. I think if he took it seriously he probably would have handled the guy easily. He didn't and thought his usual half effort would result in a win and the guy caught him. 

I'm shocked.
