Alas, another UFC event is upon us. Another chance for some to make a name for themselves, others will begin to fade, and one in particular will hang em up for good (so he says). One thing not to overlook on this card, as with most UFC cards, is the under card. Most of us can't wait to see the main events, but little to no value lies in most main event moneylines. If you know the favorite is going to destroy the dog and you don't wanna lay the chalk, try looking for a prop that caters to the style of the fav. For example, Jon Bones Jones was well over 2-1 at most book before last fight, and I grabbed him at -120 to finish Rua inside the distance. $$ in the bank. Without further ado....
GSP wins inside the distance +125 GSP is just too good for anyone in the game to handle at this stage of his career. He will find out what your strength is, get better than you at it, and systematically take you apart. GSP will win, and it won't go to the judges.
Jose Aldo wins inside distance -220 Jose Aldo is absolutely untouchable right now. The man will run right through anyone when it comes to staying on the feet, hands down no questions asked. So opponents will try to take him down inevitably. The only problem with that is IF you can get Aldo down, he has top ju-jitsu skills that he has yet to really unleash. Look for Aldo to more than likely finish this on the feet within the first two rounds, and if by the grace of god Hominick can get him down Aldo with end it swiftly on the mat.
Nate Diaz -110 Whenever you see either Diaz brother on the card you know you're going to see a hell of a fight. Nate Diaz may be Nick's younger brother, but his skill set is nearly as sharp as his big brother. Nate has very crisp boxing skills, as well as a very tough chin to boot. Both Diaz brothers are VERY, VERY high level ju-jitsu aces. Don't see suprised to see Diaz end this one on the ground via something ridiculous like a Go-Go Plata.
Charlie Valencia +105 I like this one the least of the 4, but the man is just gritty as hell and is +105. Charlie Valencia was a staple of the WEC for quite sometime. With the UFC absorbing the WEC he will no doubt face a step up in competition as Dana White like to see real fighters fight. Enter Ivan Menjiviar. Word on the street is this kid is tough as nails. I don't doubt it, but I truly believe Valencia's experience will get him a gritty, less than pretty victory.
BOL brothers, take the house!!!

I absolutely believe GSP can submit shields if it gets to the ground. I respect Shields game and the fact he has ridiculous submission skills, but GSP is superior in the intellectual part of the game as well as the physical part of the game. I have actually seen 5 of Aldo's fights, so don't assume when you know nothing of it. The man is a ridiculous striker and I have inside knowledge of his ju jitsu skills as I've been to Torres' gym in East Chicago. So don't flap your mouth in forums unless you have real insight into the subject.

Matter of fact, here's a link to my brother's brazilian ju jitsu school I'll make sure you get a free pass so you can come and learn a thing or two from someone who actually know their shit, and you bet your ass I'll be there :) https://anytimefitness.com/en-us/clubs/staff/2310 Gracie Brazilian ju jitsu is no joke, and Aldo is a Torres' trained, amongst others, ju jitsu ace. He's won numerous National NAGA tournaments as well as several National Gi and no Gi tournaments. Educate yourself before you speak boy

Anyways good luck, chode. Next time just admit when you bet on the wrong props. Save us this whole back-and-forth.

Really?? Why don't you go troll someone else's picks( who doesn't know what they're talking about) jackass. You are the reason why these forums go to shit. And guess what dumb ass, most if not all fighters travel from camp to camp to sharpen their skills in all areas. He ABSOLUTELY has trained at Miguel's gym in East Chicago where their specialty is brazilian ju jitsu. Furthermore, you know nothing of ju jitsu by the way you speak, as a matter of fact I'm 90% certain you're not even a ju jitsu practicioner. So how about you save yourself the embarrassment of talking more shit taht you know nothing about and find another forum you adolescent rimjob. I'm here for picks and picks only, not to educate your pompice, pre-pubescent ass.

Waiting to take Nate is your best bet. He will wind up a pretty substantial dog. Sharps lining up to bet against him. He has always struggled against fighters that can match him on the ground and defend his submissions. Exactly what Rory can do. When it comes to decisions, Nate always finds himself on the short end of the stick, if he can't submit you, he is in trouble. Look at his record when it goes to the judges. The UFC loves to screw him and his brother.

Why take GSP inside distance when you can take him by TKO? You think GSP will submit Shields?
How many Aldo fights have you seen? About two, like everyone else?
Better bet on Diaz is inside distance (he can submit or TKO) but if the fight goes the distance I'd expect McDonald to have hustled him.
You've seen 2 Jose Aldo fights and aren't convinced he can beat Hominick?? You're in for a surprise tonight, this guy is a cold blooded killer. Enjoy the show

WiseGuys-You're definitely correct about Nate... only thing there is you're assuming it will go to the ground.. I have confidence that with Nate's superior boxing skills he can catch Rory on the feet and end the fight... If it goes to the ground you're right, he will have a tougher time as Rory is a legitimate ground threat himself. Thing is Nate is a seasoned fighter at this point. He's been in deep waters several times throughout his career and I think if it comes down to a ju jitsu matchup Diaz will edge it out. Either way, I guarantee this fight will be a fight of the night candidate. Kmoney- You're damn right he's a cold blooded killer!!! LOL That man is ridiculous, and as I said no one is even aware of the top level ju jitsu talent he possesses. I GUARANTEE an Aldo win inside the distance. Hominick is a great boxer, but guess what.... boxing will only work if your opponent isn't a man capable taking over a small country with his kickboxing skills!!! BOL brothers!! (except for Paul Scholes, why don't you go follow a soccer thread you puke)
