Will update my record next time, am away from home computer.

Up a nice amount for the year, lost last event.  That is all I know without looking at the exact numbers.


Dos Santos/Velasquez PARLAY 5 units to win 2.5
Stefan Struve -115   2.3 units to win 2
Dan Hardy -125    2.5 units to win 2
CB Dollaway +135   1 unit to win 1.35
Shane Del Rosario +145   1 unit to win 1.45

Love the price on del Rosario!  Can't go wrong with a Cain/JDS play either!

also, dan hardy? really? two strikers, and ludwig is the better of the two.

on those 2 picks, he doesn't. stipe's gonna control del rosario with superior strength and wrestling.. either pushing him up against the cage or taking him down for gnp. besides, if you were gonna bet on del rosario, why wouldnt you wait until fight time? stipe's odds have been sliding since they opened.. rookie mistake to not wait on that one. i took stipe early at -155

ludwig will frustrate hardy for 3 rounds with his more versatile, more technical striking. hardy has a punchers chance at best, but he's facing someone who is better in nearly every way. he can try for the takedown, but ludwig's tdd isnt bad and hardy's a striker, that's what he does.

both those picks are misguided, as you will see come fight time.

you can see the thread with the unit amounts i wagered lower in this forum, as well as sharpstick's response to my picks.

i do not recommend getting on board with del rosario, hardy, or dollaway.

this is mma, there can be great value in favorites, and i feel that all of my picks have a greater chance to win than the odds indicate.

we'll see after the fights though. you gonna regret that del rosario bet though. hardy has a small chance (still not worth the bet at all), but del rosario is gonna get worked.

kudos for going against the majority of the people here with the ludwig pick as i had the fight even. but when ferretta all but told the judges who he wants to win and the fact that hardy has excellent cardio and probably wont be finished i cant see ludwig getting a decision unless he dominates.

also, 33-years-old, two kids, wife, opening a new gym in a tough economy...lots of resposibility and pressure going against a crowd, hometown and promoters favorite.
