That's BiggJohn to you Mustofan. Yes, the XFL does ring a bell to me as it should to you because I compared the XFL directly to the UFC in an earlier post on this thread. UFC=WWE is getting closer and closer. McMahon is a billionaire as is Mark Cuban and the UFC is goin' down like a two-dolla ho. Mark sure you buy UFC pay-per-views 76,77,78 and UFC Unleashed II (wasn't that a Jet Li movie?) while you can. Imagine all the tears cried into beers when the UFC is no more. Until then, keep grounding and pounding UFC loyalists.

There is a new truly ultimate fighting competition on the block. It's called Vali Tudo. A guy named Jason Atkins has a website called ToughSportsLive.com that features broadcasts of "bare knuckles, no rules Brazilian jujitsu matches dubbed 'Rio Heroes'. Is the UFC still the "Ultimate" now? This "Rio Heroes is obviously touhger than the UFC. Will any of you switch over to that now? Makes the UFC look like tame huh? MMA is a little too rough for you boxing purists.  it probably also won't be very enjoyable to those people that think real fights are similar to boxing where you just use your fists.  like little girls and stuff who have never been in a real fight and pretty much have no clue.

if i was asked to come up with a fighter to challenge the "baddest dude on the planet" i sure as hell wouldn't send in a boxer to fight to the death in a no rules match.  and i wouldnt pick anyone from the UFC either, they have too many pretty boy creampuffs in the UFC.  don't confuse UFC and MMA, UFC is just one entity of many in the MMA world.

you see, boxing is just real fighting with a shitload of restrictions.  cant kick, cant elbow, cant do this, cant do that.  you pretty much cant do shit except punch.  boxing is for guys that don't have enough all around talents so they make it easier for them and just use their fists.  they are too dumb to actually come up with strategies for more than one discipline.  oh and they use big huge padded gloves so it doesn't really hurt that much. 

oh, and the BEST point i could ever make is that you know boxing is more of a wussy sport when WOMEN are doing it   ahahaahahahaha

MMA is tough?!! Give me a break!! In case you haven't noticed Salminella, the UFCer's and MMAer's wear gloves too. Why don't they go bare knuckle? Not tough enough? Probably. And you mean to tell me that if Oscar de la Hoya hit you with his left hook it wouldn't hurt you because of the gloves? I'd pay to see that. After you spit out 3 teeth I'd like to hear you say "I was wrong". If MMA is so tough why are you allowed to tap out?  And what about the point backburner makes? Woman fighting in the MMA. You're probably right MMA is a sissy sport too. Additionally you say boxers are dumb because they don't use strategy. What color is the sky in your world? I saw two UFC or MMAer's playing chess the other day and when I looked closer they were jumping the pieces like checkers. So much for strategy. By the way how much of a genius do you have to be to come up with the term "ground & pound"? A MENSA member maybe? Keep grounding and pounding Salminella!!

i never saw ladies in MMA, sorry but the home videos u see on utube don't count.  i'm talking professional fighters in a major venue.  ain't gonna happen

MMA at it's core makes boxing look like a box sport.  the only reason they are using gloves now (and they are tiny things at that) is to make it LEGAL and so they can televise it. can't really make any money if you can't put in on the tube now can ya.

so MMA has restrictions in place to make it tame enough so they can bring it to the viewing public. 

boxing is nothing but restrictions, and is a dying sport.  boxing will be dead soon.  dead as a dino.

i wonder why MMA events have already surpassed the ticket sales and gross revenue of all boxing events?  that's because the public has chosen.

Thought you UFCer's would want to watch this and see what REAL "fighting" is all about. On the Discovery channel October 4th at 9:00 is a program called Last One Standing. It's about cultures and fighting around the world. These fights are extremely intense. I'm pretty sure you can't "tap out" of any of these battles. Makes the UFC look like two little girls plating patty-cake. UFSissies!

 Bigelow competed in a "U-Japan" mixed martial arts event against Kimo Leopoldo. Bigelow was dominated throughout the match, being mounted within the first 10 seconds. He lost to a rear naked choke in the first round.
 
Kimo was at best an average ufc fighter by the way.

You've got to be kidding.  At first I wasn't 100% sure if you were a child or not...but now I am convinced.  At least if your going to post stupid questions, at least answer them truthfully instead of just in your opinion.

 

1.  Yes, WWE has been around longer.  Well actually it hasn't, since it was the WWF for 30+ years and they had to change their name.   UFC didn't.  Advantage UFC

2.   WWE may pull in more revenue, but that's only because they have 13+ pay per views and many house show.  And actually, the UFC generates more on average per PPV and generates more profit, which is the true bottom line, more profit is better than more revenue.   Advantage UFC

3.  WWE does problem have more fans because of kids, but ages 18-45+, UFC would have the advantage.  But the bottom line is, WWE does have more.   Advantage WWE

4.  Wrestlemania is a huge show.  UFC doesn't have a Wrestlemania like card, but if they did, I'm pretty sure they could get 2 million (which WWE hasn't hit in years) ppv buys and sell out ANY arena.  Advantage  WWE..for now

5.  Better motion pictures..what kind of little kid question is this.  Who gives a shit.  Bottom line is, you can see the WWE wrestlers act every Monday Night on USA.  I'm pretty sure that the true fan wants REALITY, not make believe.  Why can't you wager on WWE events again?   Advantage UFC

6. Signatue Move  Again, an answer that is your opinion...why don't you see a figure four leg lock in UFC or any MMA event?  Because a man isn't going to just lay their and let them put them in this move.  Why?  Because UFC isn't scripted.  Advantage UFC

16.  Joe Rogan vs. Mean Gene  Mean Gene is one of the better interviewers ever, although Rogan is good, Mean Gene is one of the best.  Not as good as Gordon Solie, but in this case, WWE gets the nod.  Advantage WWE

17. Intercontinental Champion vs. Heavyweight Champion  What the hell kind of compairison is this?  I watch wrestling all the time and the last time I check, they too also have a HEAVYWEIGHT Champ.  Once again, your a jack ass.  Advantage NONE

Dude, defend your wrestling, but at least be truthful both ways instead of swinging from McMahons grapefruits.  Perhaps if you weren't the most prominent member of the "McMahon Kiss My Ass Club" you make better comments instead of just being one sided.

 

Believe me, I like wrestling a lot.  Actually more than the UFC.  But the UFC is REAL FIGHTING.  This all stated with dumb ass John trying to say how the UFC is scripted like WWE then made these idiot compairisons while being biased to one side.

BiggJohn is what we call a troll.  He talks mindless nonsense, knowing all of it is factually incorrect, and he talks it on an mma forum to get a reaction.  He is a loser with no life, who obviously had too much time on his hands, and he's bitter the UFC trumps WWE's PPV buyrates 5 to 1.  Don't feed the troll by responding to his b.s. he knows what he is saying is a joke, and if he doesn't, then clearly he's even dumber then we all originally thought.  Forget WWE, MMA surpassed boxing, it gets more ratings then the NBA finals.  So maybe he should keep his mouth shut and if he wants to get a reaction so bad, go voice some of his opinions at an mma gym where people can have the luxury of mopping the floor with him.  LOL @ somebody calling them steroid heads (when the testing is superior to any major sport) and having an av of The Ultimate Roidhead...lol.

MsPulla- yes I did go into a mma gym and say that. I do it often considering one of my friend owns it. My own proclivities make reasoning and discussing a subject a far superior means than engaging in combat to resolve a debate no matter how polarizing the material is. I just read an article that stated ufc fighters are displeased with their salaries and that the ufc does not even provide health insurance for their fighters. Good lookin out management. All that pay-per-view money and that can't even provide the basics? MsPulla is that you in the picture? If it is nice Wannabe OG Gangsta pose. as for the ufc management you're right, dana white is a joke, they don't get paid fair, they do have health insurance, although it's nothing like other combat sports.
