That's Girardi. He brings in a lefty to face a lefty (whose allowed 4 of his 8 inherited runners to score). Who did he face anyway? Was it even a good lefty? Unless it was Choo, which it wasn't, then there is no reason for that matchup. A lefty specialist it to face a really good lefty in a big spot. He just is an awful manager and it really pisses me off that he has no idea what he's doing half the time.

Yankees still could pull out a miracle in with their last 6 outs, but anyone taking a $3.00 favorite needs to have their head examined.  I don't normally know what a good wager is, but a poor wager like this one is obvious.  And I don't care if the NYY blew a big lead.  Play with fire and you deserve to get burned.
