If I may add a little something for the over.

Todays ump is DeMuth and he's not only been an over ump @8-3 this year, but according to my notes (these are at least a season old, sometimes even 2 or 3, so they might not apply all the times) he has a very high low part of the zone and is tighter on the left side of the plate than right.
Pelfrey is a sinkerballer and Maholms best offerings are his CHup and SL as his FB sits in high 80s.
This would imply problems for both pitchers as neither can strike out people at will and they might have to keep ball up at belt-high.

Why is SD not as strong of a play as KC?  I thought colors were most important... is it because SD is - and KC is +? Blue vs Red seems better than Green vs Red... Thanks, always appreciate your insights.

Yes. Between the two i'm taking the + pitcher (O'Sullivan) over the - pitcher (Stauffer).

Actually, i'm seeing lots of faves winning tonight -- and will not be suprised if ALL the faves win at home.

Are you worried at all about O'Sullivan's tricep tendinitis?

O'Sullivan has been battling right biceps tendinitis that limited the effectiveness of his fastball, but he wanted to give Yost as many innings as possible.

"It's not fun," O'Sullivan said. "But I had to keep taking the ball and go as hard as I could for as long as I could. I'd have finished it if (Yost) kept running me out there."

O'Sullivan said he's experienced the tendinitis before and has been able to pitch through it.

"It started grabbing me a little bit," he said. "I couldn't get much behind the ball. It made it difficult to get much on the fastball. I get it once or twice every year. It wasn't going to go away for five days, but it's nothing that sticks with me. I pitch through it one or two times and it goes away."
