I am thinking about giving it a try; but if my neighbors see me out on the patio at 2:30 A.M. yelling at the TV, they may call the guys in the white jackets.

KEY,did the curve ball get the kid a free trip to college at least, though it sounds like a MLBP with that break, they made a movie about a guy that did not get drafted in baseball, best kid in L.L.,best in Jr High,Best in High School and awesome College Stats, free ride to College, but not a call on any draft day, though he did get some offer out of the Country that he declined.
I can not believe you guys do not like my SAFE AND SANE BASEBALL,that is a great league.I been spending all my hard time off work putting something together for you guys to be able to watch balls and bats, and that's the thanks I get, great.

JEG: Yes, he got a college ride out of it, but didn't have the heater or pin-point control for pro ball. back when Houston U. had Phi Slamma Jamma in basketball Oklahoma State had Smacka Jacka Row in college baseball. Incaviglia, Ventura, all those guys. My kids greatest honor was being one of very few guys to hold them under ten runs in a game. They usually scored at least ten in games they lost.

Well that was fun watching my ESPN lose the first 5 over 5.5 by half a run after they score 4 in the top of the first and then win the FG by walkoff in the 9th inning What an emotional roller coaster... Way to suck me in KBO good job on your part.

Incaviglia,Pete was what 85 or 1986 class of,I know the Center from Houston was 1984 and the reason?I started watching the Last Dance which was much better than I thought it was going to be,He was drafted first in 1984 to MJs Third,I had heard some Stories and saw Jordan play a couple times and the intense stories I had hear and the little bit of shit-talking I could hear did not prepare me for how he was with his team-mates,man he was on them after a few years in the league.
BUT MJ IS AND STILL HAS BEEN THE BEST PLAYER EVER AND JAMES IS NOT THOUGH HE HAS PROVED TO BE IN THE TOP WHERE EVER YOU HAVE HIM,THE SALARY ISSUE WITH HIM AND PIPPIN I REMEMBER,JORDAN GOT 70 MILLION LAST 2 YEARS IN CHICAGO,PIPPIN NEVER GOT PAID IN CHICAGO.
Key my Dad went to school with Pete Dad's so I also knew that team,do not remember much pitching though but they were high scoring games, one of the few times I watch or bet College Baseball plus we were young then, love having bring me back to those 25 to 50 time frames.

Things have changed a lot. In Pippen's entire career, he still played through the bad contract that he signed. Did he deserve more? Of coarse.
Today's primadonna holds out after a year or two of their contracts, and it's players who are half the caliber of Pippen.
Take this for comparison...Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys just refused a 5 year $175 million contract. It would of made him the highest paid QB in NFL history.
How does one even have a snow balls chance in hell of getting a better offer ever again?

I will grant you some of it seems greedy, or that guys are overreaching their value, but some of it just shows us how much players were undervalued before free agency. What would Mickey, Willie, Stan and Ted be worth today? Heck, when they hit a 100K it was called big money and today's rookie salary is what, 400K? Athletes had off season jobs back in the day, so they could earn a living and invest or save for retirement. Face it guys, it is a whole different world now, and a much fairer one to professional athletes. The reserve clause was nothing but indentured servitude. If and when Dak Prescott negotiates with any team, they are now going to go in with the knowledge he is difficult to deal with. If that effects his future then so be it. As for Pippen, I feel for him, but a contract is a contract and your employer has a right to hold you to it. Guys never want to renegotiate their contract when things don't work out as planned and it is obvious they are not worth what they signed for, so what should be different in a case like Pippen's? When Nolan Ryan became the first "Million Dollar Man" folks said that was crazy, heck he only works every fifth day! (Which of course was not true). He proved to be worth every penny and his employers never complained. That was 10X what the "big four" worked for in the fifties and there are guys today making over 10X what Ryan did. I will tell ya guys, sometimes we step way out our league trying to criticize the way a bunch of successful billionaires try to run their enterprises. Let it be. It is what it is. Just gimme the games!

If you are able to get a TT for the Dino’s tonight I would suggest it. Dino’s held to only 3 runs the last 2 games but that was facing Saupold (1.64 ERA) and Kim (1.99 ERA) Now they get Jang (1-2 7.30 ERA ) Was hoping they lost last night so I can hammer NC tonight. My book doesnt offer TTs for KBO and I don’t quite trust the Hanwha bats right now to look at the game over tonight.
anyway. Take it for what it’s worth.

To paraphrase Anita Bryant "a day without sac is like a day without sunshine." He must have been up in Wisky-Consin yesterday trying to intimidate some fish, or avoid being eaten by a bear, or shot by some German dairy farmer. Oh well, to each his own. BOL
