Key you need to change your Calif.name, fruity is no longer in the ballpark, stupid or nuts maybe selfish comes to mind,so not sure what you can make out of that but the things I see now on the news has me just baffled, people refuse to wear mask and when someone will say something the person with no mask goes nuts and starts screaming at everyone and just ready to fight everyone that is there. The protest because people are being asked to stay at home and the area's where the virus is worse are the people doing the driving all over Calif. to the areas that are on the coast so now these travelers do not wear mask or do the distance thing,Santa Cruz which is suppose to be the place where all the Hippies from the 60s in SF are supposed to be at now had a group walk in from who knows where and knocked over the plexiglass the eatery had put up and when a worker from Philipines said something the group started yelling racial slurs at the guy which lead to a violet fight.

Now a week after the fight they fire the guy that worked there for being one of the first involved in fight which really was a bad idea,10 other workers quit and a bunch of customers also complained to Mgn.about how he should not have been fired and now the place is closed again but reason for closing was not given.

So now from what Paul Rand said yesterday the reason we do not have baseball is because the Good Doctor who seems to be the only one giving us info about the Virus,is also the reason we do not have sports and our Kids are not in school is all the fault of a Doctor that works on Germs, guess that means Trump was never involved in the Virus or helping to split the Country apart with his Fake NEWS.And Rand last time I heard about him was when his neighbor was kicking his azz.new_laugh_crynew_laugh_cry

Fading the Cubs as favorites is going to be a cash cow this season.

A Yankee game is almost always going to draw over money, no matter who the starters are, even these two guys. Gotta like those picks if the line holds up.

Sac, was your dad's funeral streamed or did they just send pictures really fast? You seem to be so knowledgeable about it it almost seems like you were there. Anyway, I'm glad your mom could be there and had plenty of support.

JEG: I will fall back on a very old line about California (yeah, another one). Q: What do California and a granola bar have in common? A: If you throw out the fruits and nuts all you have left are the flakes". Is that any better?

The burial hasn't happened yet Key. Still waiting for the paperwork to filter. He hasn't taken the flight yet to Poland, but all the preparation is ready once he gets there.

I was referring to the the Wake and Mass which we held here.

JEG: I will fall back on a very old line about California (yeah, another one). Q: What do California and a granola bar have in common? A: If you throw out the fruits and nuts all you have left are the flakes". Is that any better?

    new_laugh_cry

You know the way these people are acting I do not think this works anymore, they are way past the flakes and into just plain stupid, like say someone that was smart enough to buy Amazon in 97,but when they doubled their money sold it for 10,000 but if they would of let it ride that same 5,000 would be worth 2 mill. now and they would be set for life.an_brickan_arsed.

So are we playing sports soon or not, baseball had a bunch of cases didn't they,31 I believe I heard plus Jimmy Johnson in Nascar or Indy Cars,Guess it is up to Newson what happens in Calif.

I think they patch something together and it could be a memorable year for rookies. Veterans opting out all over the place, and you really can't blame them. Would you be eager to hop a plane for Miami, Houston, or L.A.? NO, they do not OWE you the game. That is Trumpian fantasy. A quick surge at any time between now and the playoffs could shut the whole thing down anyway.

Glad you liked the new (40 year old) joke. bigsmile an_roll_laugh

Well Key I am sure you saw since you know where I work that the Newsome guy who I think has done a good of job as he can,has closed bars and most everything inside again,so Trumpsters are at it again to recall him and they are really posting that the Virus is made up by Demos, and now you get fined in Calif. for not wearing a mask, they are pissed they have to wear them and that they want a distance between people. Can not wait until one of them gets a ticket and has to pay the fine, that will get them. And where do the no virus people think happen to the 130,000 deaths is just the USA,is Trump telling them we do not have a problem makes well over a million cases plus death toll really makes them feel fine with being DI&KS to everyone that thinks something is really wrong here, and of course Fauci comments get killed because Trump running around telling everyone it is not bad to get it,its not harmful.REALLY.

The 2 big news stations CNN and Fox are sounding like they are talking about different Countries.WITH THE GROUP WE HAVE RUNNING THE COUNTRY I DO NOT SEE ANY OF THE SPORTS WE BET ON BEING PLAYED AT ALL SOON,32 STATES ARE RISING IN CASES HUGE.WHEN SCIENCE IS ALLOWED TO GET AHEAD OF THIS THEN WE CAN GET A HOLD OF IT INSTEAD OF A PRESIDENT SAYING HE WANTS A MILLION PEOPLE TO COME OUT TO HIS RALLIES.

NO SPORTS WILL HAPPEN THIS YEAR AND IF TRUMP WINS MIGHT MISS 2 YEARS,32 STATES SURGING WITH VIRUS,GET A GRIP GOV'T.

The NHL may be able to pull it off because of the 2 bubbles they created in Edmonton & Toronto where the virus is not nearly as bad as it is in the USA. As I posted earlier when MLB reached an “agreement” to have a season, I believe they saw an opportunity to save face and detract from the greed issue, knowing full-well it could not be pulled off. Now they will be able to put the blame on the virus.....

Well JEG, one of the things I find most interesting is that Trump FIRES anyone that disagrees with him on anything and doesn't kiss his arse,

    EXCEPT FAUCI;

he doesn't DARE fire that guy or he would get run out of town on a rail, as they used to say. If it weren't so sad it would be laughable, but this man knows how to bring the country to tears with just his normal, everyday effort.

The main thing for DJT is, he can no longer back off without looking like a fool in the first place. He rolled the dice, now he has to live with the results. Any attempt to fight the virus with a serious program at this point would just expose his original idiocy for what it was. He is caught between the greatest of rocks and hard places. The only thing I am still curious about is how many Retardlicans he will take down with him, and how many of those can be considered volunteers, since they willingly kissed his arse and followed his lead all the way along?

    Retardlicans,

My new favorite word, just love it.

L.C. yes I read your baseball post and think I wrote a bit agreeing with your post, almost like the owners knew it was going to hit new highs,confusedangryan_razz.

So now the USA is no longer a member of WHO,so during this virus why would we want to work with other Countries, that would be dumb.

There certainly is. The Giants are not likely to lose 72.8% of Cueto's starts. Is there actually money out there backing this line, or just the bookies expectations of where it will come in?

Great season ending finale at Sox Park on 25. 26 and 27 September. Cubs vs White Sox. Should have playoff implications.

Fishing gear, probably 10 to 15 grand by now. Pickup, boat and trailer probably 40K. Lets say you can raise 50/60 grand. At +2200 that is over a million $. Go for it.

ODB maybe, if I had any inclination to fish. Sac at $250 a day seems outrageous, considering you also have to give up weekend baseball, and probably buy the beer as well.

I have a tournament on Sunday. All guided trips have been postponed till further notice. And the fee I charge is confidential between the customers and I.

But since I like Key, I would take him out at a discounted rate on a carp trip. And I'd also pay for the can of corn.
