sac, you are a downright dirty scoundrel liar. You ain't going anywhere and everyone knows it. You could not get this kind of support / abuse / smack talk / free and plentiful advice anywhere else. It would take you 5 years just to get acclimated and learn the new language anywhere else. Then you would have to add/delete friends on a daily basis until until everyone got used to you. Forget it bud, you are a lifer and will wallow in the mud with the rest of us. This place ain't Heaven pal, and we all know it, but it ain't he..ll either, except when they are breaking in new mods that don't know the clientele, or old mods that swear they are policing the place but only seem to come down on the regulars everyone accepts and are not offended by.
NOW, quit worrying about the forum format and start contributing something worthwhile again. Either that or step up to the plate and stand good for a few beers. I have spoken.
BOOM. roasted.

Are you in these films or just the guy with the big money,
so they catch them get the weight and toss them back,is that how a tourny works is fishing?ODB is from Chicago also?
It's the MLF format(major league fishing) started by pros Boyd Ducket and Gary Klein. It started roughly 3 years ago and they took away nearly 75% of the pros from BASS aka Bassmaster. BASS was the main league for fishing prior. Bass still uses the traditional 5 fish limit and top weight of those 5 wins. The fish are kept in the live well till weigh in.
MLF has marshals on every boat that weighs the fish upon catch so they can be released right away for a better survival rate. There is no limit and the minimum weight is 1 pound. So a guy can rack up weight if he finds a school of dinky 1 to 2 pounders. Opposed the traditional weigh in format where a bunch of dinks doesn't help your weight if you have 5 in the well that are 2.5+.
The method in which MLF obtained the majority of all the pros from BASS was clever. They simply don't have tournament entry fees, and it's by invite only. All fishermen are ranked from all leagues, mlf, bass, flw, bfl etc. So it's an easy choice for some guys when they get an invite. No entry fee, and more likely than not, their sponsors are taking care of all their tackle and equipment.
A select few told mlf to f*ck off with their invites. They prefer the traditional format and earning their keep. I commend those guys.
Yes ODB is from the Chicago land area

ODB. The Cubs have somewhat addressed the bullpen by not signing Kintzler, Strop and Cishek. Cishek is with the White Sox. No major moves.
yea. i'm not happy about that. but what have they done to replace them? you guys got anything cooking in the farm? i can't believe at one point you had gleybar and eloy. granted, there would be no rings without shipping out gleybar, but man that was some talent!
No team is as good as it looks when winning nor are they as bad as they look when losing

ODB. Nothing in the minors. The Sox ended up with our best pitching prospect Dylan Cease. I forget how that happened. The Cubs farm system pitching wise is bare.

Regarding post #154. I figured with sac's inside knowledge there may be a buck to be made here, so I called my book and he said he won't touch the lines (pun intended) in this MLF League. Total corruption and some say the beer truck drivers guild of Chicago has Jimmy Hoffa's great-grandchildren running the whole scam. The Feds had the whole thing figured out and were going to pull the trigger on them, but Billy Barr called the prosecutors office and said "Don don't want you to touch those guys", and that was the end of that. DJT has no interest in fishing but if money is involved, well, what the heck? So, it looks another summer of sac disappearing at the most inconvenient times and then trying to figure out on Monday morning if he lost more money going fishing than he would have on MLB over the weekend. See? There is something to be said for consistency and the more things change, the more they stay the same. Good luck at both sac, but if that happened I doubt your heart could take the shock.
Now and then even a BLIND squirrel can find an acorn

Hey sac, I was just sitting on my patio with my dog enjoying the 76 degree heat and got to wondering, has the ice on the Chicago River begun to thaw yet?

I see your message is rather short tonight. Probably have to rush off to take your lady skating on the river.
All sac is seeing is with that ice is where to cut a hole to get some fishing in,he is watching re-runs of fishing to get his fix,he needs to get his pole in some water,

I expect Key to be on the Royals blind for 100 units
Wake up and smell the coffee sac, or the roses, or whatever. That is one of the most public lines you can imagine. What home field advantage? They share the SAME PARK. If that line holds up all it will show you is how stupid the public really is. As far as spring ball + blind betting goes the only strategy is bet the dog or leave it alone. Team names and home parks have no value whatsoever.
Now, have you totally lost your mind or did you just want to drag that post out me for the benefit of newbies?

Sac, received some nice feedback on the White Sox, word is they are close to being good. They need games to get rolling, but early words are good words from these guys. Looking forward to the season.
In post #59 I called the Sox and Reds the most improved teams pretty much. I'll stick by that statement.

A week to go in February and already the geniuses are emerging. How lucky can we be? The Central and Northeastern states are still digging out from under blizzards, but some gracious folks have offered to make us rich on baseball before a serious pitch is thrown or a serious game is played. I just can't believe every serious gambler or every person desperate for money is not flooding this site with hosanna's for the benevolent dispensers of solid gold advice. What is wrong with either the greedy or desperate that they do not take advantage of so much free money?
I really didn't want to post this, but I just couldn't stand seeing the drivel dominate the main board.
