Your memory is distorted from smoking the Califruity substitute form of tobacco (native American peyote), and why are you fixated on Jared Porter's pe**s? Jealousy or desire? You want him to p**k you? I need L.C. to call foul or no foul on this one. Meanwhile, isn't there something baseball related we could discuss without resorting to Trump's "locker room talk"?

With all the Pitchers the Dodgers have had I would not of guess Sutton as all time win leader of the Dodgers and if LC was here he would tell you that though he leads the Dodgers in wins, his win total with Dodgers is 233 and just for shits and giggles # 2 was Big Don at 209. Also Sutton wins is 324 wins and 256 losses, which is 580 decisions out of the 756 your claiming, never happen within 100 wins anymore, nowadays I can not see any pitcher getting 200 wins.

They don't even go for wins anymore; all they want is 5 innings per start, 25 starts a year and a new, huge contract. Even at that they will be retired 23 years after they begin and living on the Riviera talking about how great they were.

Did you see the Documentary called Under the Grapefruit Tree? It is about CC Sabathia and when I first saw the ads on HBO for it I was Really, why on him? As it turned out since he played close to 8 years for Cleveland so that was 8 years I missed but did remember he signed a huge contract with Yankees and for what pitchers do now he was worth the money though he did have a couple bad years but his numbers for last 19 years were closer to the older era.
He had 251 wins with 161 losses which is 412 decisions with 3,093 Ks, his ERA was a bit high for the pitchers before him at 3.74, but he also went thru the Roid period along with the juice ball a couple different time frames. So it would seem to me that his stats for today pitchers are out of reach, I used Clemens stats to see where CC stood because Roger came from last era where Pitchers pitched.
He had a 354-184 record with 4672 Ks with a 3.12 ERA in 709 starts,he also was a Roid era pitcher but is not in HOF because he was thought of as a user, but with his #s and everyone was taking them in baseball, I have read stories from guys that did not make it because they would not take them.Is that a true story or just guys that thought they got screwed, who knows, but my guess is you needed to take them in that time frame to keep up with other players for some guys. Roger and Barry probably did not need to take them but they both got to play 24 years so would say they added years and lots of money,SO WTF.
Back to your point now,no way any pitcher will come close to CC #s, as he was not able to reach the era before him or where pitchers were when he started, now 200 wins will be unreachable because they do not pitch enough innings as you pointed out Key, plus last couple years using relievers to start games is going to throw starters off their game and if your lucky 70 pitches is what you get.Winning baseball games is done in later innings,if your gone by 6th inning you have lot less chances to win .

Don't count out the Rays. They never sign the big name stars and don't get the ink, but put together high quality, competitive teams year after year. Many teams with high dollar, big name stars do not play in October. Bad news in A.L. East is that the BoSox and Orioles will once again fight it out for fifth place.

I like CC but I honestly cannot figure out how you missed eight years of his career because he played in Cleveland. Granted, they were the stinky jock strap of MLB back then, but CC was clearly a star. The HOF thing I won't comment on. I think he was an abuser, but his numbers would have been great anyway. I generally do not feel sorry for the guys banned, or ones that just can't get the votes; they made their own beds and have to lie in them. Bonds and Clemens are good examples. They would have been HOF with regular career numbers and didn't need artificially inflated astronomical numbers to get there. Sammy Sosa never would have made it, but Mark McGuire probably would. You made your bed, lie in it.

I'm getting tired of the Rays routine. If they can scrap another competitive squad together once again, then kudos to them. I just think that karma will hit them in the proverbial ass for not retaining guys that played hard and proved it. It seems like they treat ANYONE as "disposable" on their roster.

I heard on mlb network that at the age of 41, he went 6 1/3 innings in a playoff game vs Roger Clemons and gave up only 1 earned. The Angels won that day. Great story.

About Don Sutton. "IRONMAN" to the tee.

yanks gotta show me that they have their pitching together. they're still light on the mound and now tanaka is talking about going to japan. you can have all the hitters and the home runs in the world but it doesn't matter if your rotation is giving up just as many as you're hitting. i don't see rays replicating what they did without snell, and honestly i could see this being a letdown year for them after the disaster of a mistake that cash made. i'll roll the dice with the jays
No team is as good as it looks when winning nor are they as bad as they look when losing

jays to win the division +775 last night for me
padres to win the pennant +375
braves to win the pennant +450

Criticizing the Rays for not retaining stars they can not afford is a little silly when you look at well they rebuild without even blinking. All of that is OK, just watch what we are concerned with, overvalued vs undervalued. No gloating about picking the division winner if they won 60% of their games at -160.

I had to send you two new friends request,if you would check how to accept those I have received a message from "our Friend" he wants me to pass some info on to you's, but your not in our crowd so if you want the info you need to do your part. I can not post it where who knows is watching, he has gotten in over his head.
And yes that is both of you, unless you do not want it, I will pass that on.

No way TB is going to be one of my teams this year, I was with them last year until they lost to my Dodgers, but now your saying I should be looking at My Team from Canada Toronto Blue Jays, when we had Joe Carter we were awesome, nice to hear we are doing things.

I will check out all this when I get home. No good on phone. Looks like good news all around, except for JEG lying about LC not wanting me to friend him. But, what the heck, we are all used to him lying. Some things never change. Sun still rises in the east.

Now when in my words do you see me telling you not to friend LC Mr DonKey, since it is looking like your making stuff up again, I made a comment that was generic, but that was because I sent you a friend request when I found out they had erased my list which you have ignored, how you got to me saying LC likes me better I do not know.
But I am sure he does, we like the same Teams.
