oops, I was thinking Caesar. Marc Antony was long dead when I met Columbus. Maybe JEG is right about the dementia.

You have a friend? Is the feeling mutual?

You are in prime form today Barney. What happened? Food? Wine? Woman? The cartel paid your last commission?

What's the under/over on when JEG comes in here posting about the time he was hanging out at his bar with WC Fields and Moe Howard, watching the Brooklyn Dodgers (that's his team don't you know).

Probably JEG's cousin; I mean, well, you know, the bloodline is questionable.

Tough line to make. He will have to think of something preposterous that Fields allegedly said before he takes the bait.

But, I can see light at the end of the tunnel, sac. The wife and I got stuck with first dose yesterday and with no side effects. Second dose scheduled March 18. Not out of the woods yet but it feels encouraging at least.
On another note: Forget Spring Training attendance. D-bax tickets went on sale a couple days ago with a limit of 2,200 per game and were sold out immediately. Scalpers and ticket outlets got them all. I love spring training but I won't be ripped off, and Maricovid County wants it that way. Tourism is much more important than local people. OK, up theirs. I already have my TV subscription and none of the usual gang plans to come to town this year anyway. Life goes on.

Two of every ten years the Sux are allowed to look better than the Flubs. This is one of those years, however; they could be better than the Flubs and still go way under 91.5 wins. My heart goes out to sac, victim of living in Chifartgo.

The cws will be good for a while, on offense.
Giolito has good years ahead of him. Keuchel maybe a couple, Lynn's arm could fall off this year. They will regret trading away Dane Dunning around September. And it will go down as the Sox 2nd worst trade in history, right behind the James "Big Game" Shields trade.

When the White Sox picked up Liam Hendriks, I didn't realize that they let Alex Colome go.
Why? That's dumb. On top of that Colome signed with the Twins.
I was under the impression that they had Bummer, Colome and Hendriks as the back end of their bulpen. That would of been lights out, pack your bags, one foot on the plane, game over.
You want to win now White Sox? Shoulda paid the piper.
Nothing is going to change in the 9th inning.
Colome last year: 0.81 era, .94 whip, .163 BA, .460 ops
Hendriks last year: 1.78 era, .67 whip, .161 BA, .405 ops.
But you let a division rival get an awesome pitcher.
I didn't even look at either contract but am guessing the sox lost this deal.
I've mentioned before, letting James McCann go was also a mistake.
I will be fading "Jegs" White Sox.
Go Cubbies Baby

The White Sux are a very old franchise, sac. Who knows the number of, or effects of, dumb trades in their history? There may be ghosts hiding in the graveyard you aren't even aware of. I don't think Giolito will prove a problem, but Keuchel and Lynn are pushing the envelope and Cease and Rodon are just borderline major league. If the offense, Keuchel and Lynn come through they probably make the playoffs, but that is still seven months away. One thing for sure, I ain't betting the over 91.5 BOL

Dylan Cease throws hard, really hard. But he doesn't strike people out. He lives in the bottom of the strike zone, he never changes the hitters eye level. And when he tries to keep the ball in such a small area, walking becomes a problem.
Someone needs to teach him how to effectively throw that heater upstairs. I'm shocked that he doesn't, he pushes 98 to 100 at times.
The only other guy in baseball that throws the heater that hard and keeps the ball low is Zack Wheeler. But he has better control.

Congratulations, hang in there, Puff.
Miggy needs 134 hits and 13 homers to join the 3,000/500 club. I think he gets there this year and it will be the highlight of the year for the Tigers. But, what about after? does he keep playing? Does he ask for a trade to a contender? It will be interesting to see. Great career, HOF assured.

Wheeler was the worst trade by the Giants in the Bouchy era, Beltran who did nothing for them but get hurt and they gave up Wheeler who was just starting to make the roster and a couple other pitchers and a player, the farm system has never been the same since, or the team though they did win one more WS where Bum have a great Post-Season.
@KeyElement
As far as all the other stuff and junk written by those others I can not think of any of it that is worth a comment and the Fart Guy City calling it your A game, Good thing he is not a teacher cause his grading sucks.
That is my Comment.
