I’m guessing the dart board will provide a higher winning percentage.
Like it D, was never a fan of Carlos Martinez. Never liked Matt Carpenter, especially at lead off.
Looks like a get right day for the Stros offense?

Mad Bum strikes out 6 in 2 innings.
Canning strikes out 5 in 2 innings.
11 of the first 12 outs via the K.
Kids trying to make a name for themselves by swinging out of their shoes in Spring.
You wanna talk about dart board betting, these guys have the same modo at the plate.

What really gets me is when they are staring at the wild blue yonder to see how far it went, and the catcher is throwing it back to the pitcher.

Haha that's great. It reminds me off my freshman year of high school football. I played QB. My coach noticed that I would look at the football after every pass. He asked me what the hell was I looking at after every pass. I replied, to see if I was throwing a spiral.
He taught me to keep my eyes on the defense and my wide receivers in my periphery. And then to look out for defensive linemen(after the pass) who want to clean my clock. For my own health.
He didn't give 2 shits what the ball looked like, as long as it got where it was supposed to be.

I sympathize with him. Any coach with a Pollock Q.B. has to be nervous at all times. Did he have any problem with the bottle of vodka in your locker, or did he need to tap it occasionally himself?

Love the dartboard call, was in process of getting ready to make my mark on his made for TV movie version of gambling but liked yours better,
but on your great Medicare + Supplement, is this work related plan like my Dad has a Monster Plan from Dow that they gave him when he was 53, he pays 180 a month for both of them, plus the medicare they each pay out of check, he had a tumor taken out of his back 4 years ago when he was 85 and he spent close to 4 weeks in hospital, bill was over a million and his out of pocket was 1400 bucks, plus Dow does all the work to put it together if they change plans, plus they still give him stocks as part of his pension. He will be 90 this year and looks like he has 15 years left in him.
Or did you get the one that you pay thru medicare that goes with your medicare payment, also on the medicare ones does your Wife and you have 2 different plans or do you pay for supplement at one fee for both?
I asked my Dad same ??s but he has no clue, Dow has always taken care of his Health Insurance needs.

Our plans are not involved with any rollover from anyone. Neither of us were ever on a big industry plan that provided that. ALL Medicare plans are individual, there are no combined or family plans, BUT, you are assigned to a group that computes like a group plan at many employers. In fact, due to providers associated with our plans my wife is with United Health Care and I had to switch to Humana to keep the same pain management doctor. These huge policies from Government and HUGE industry that are basically cradle-to-the-grave will disappear in the next generation, simply too expensive, and local governments are being bankrupted trying to fund them. Socialized medicine is on the way, whether it is 2 years or 10, but there is no avoiding it. Managed care is inevitable. Get used to the concept.

Think we had the same QB Coach, but we did not have 9th grade at our High School, plus I was a Junior when I was playing football and second string, thank God, I was a baseball pitcher that the Coach said I could throw a football, I disagreed but in those times they really did not care what you said, he needed a back up and I was it no matter what I wanted.
I never got to look but a min. since I do not think I ever got a pass longer than 15 yards and I got the lesson early on looking to see if a hit was coming, I loved being on the mound in charge of the game based on when I threw it, great feeling there. But football all I wanted was off the field, those defensive linemen were just Crazy, lucky for me I did not play much and usually just handed the ball off to someone else to run it.

When the Phillies pound the Yankees 15-ZIP, it lends credibility to the concept.

I had a permanent bruised outline of my ribcage all season long. Never wore a flap jacket, elbow pads, gloves, or any other "add on" pads. And we're talking football, not baseball where some of today's hitters look like Robocop.
Transitioning from football to baseball, back to football ALWAYS screwed with my throwing motion for both sports. It took extra time to get in the right groove.
Amazingly I never had a serious injury. Combine an IRONman with a dumb Pollock, and it equals invincible
Ever break your middle finger between 2 kegs at 6:30am, and still finish all your deliveries? Then don't report the injury because you don't want to miss time at the bar after work?
the good ole days

Now THAT is a Pollock strategy if I ever heard one
However, I will concede that Irishmen are more likely to go the bar for medicinal treatment than an emergency room after a vicious fight. We all have traditional ethnic standards to maintain don't we?
