Well the Yankees have there own station, George was a very smart man and the Dodgers got a 500 billion deal from Times and unless you pay someone or another network pays Times Warner you do not get to watch the Dodgers, we paid the fee at bar and we had Dodgers fans drive 2 hours to watch a game, the drinkers usually had to spend another couple hundred for a room to sleep it off.Room Tax F & B it was a 400 buck baseball game, plus TIP, man I miss work.
Houston won by 30 something.

Congrats on your ILL. team winning B-10, should get a good seed if not out already, ILL and Texas in Final 4 ,that is worth some money, health is going to be big, CNN was showing Spring Break spots, loaded with kids, no mask or distance and in 2 weeks more venues opening in Calif. plus LA is opening everything now, Food for sure, not sure about bars. My County still closed down.

@undermysac Thanks, that account I had on BETUS I now have enough for first month of baseball in it, . Unless I lose it all in March Madness, lol.
DISCIPLINE my friend. Never make a bet that can put you out of business! It would be a shame if the guys in this thread got off to a hot start and you were too broke to play! Be conservative and build that bankroll a little. If you are hot it will snowball, perhaps even avalanche. That is quite a story about the $400 Dodger games but at least the idiots had enough left to tip.
Now and then even a BLIND squirrel can find an acorn

Spring Training 2021 [ 12-14-2 / +3 / RoR +.01%] 3/15 Red Sox +125 Comment: I might have another later in the Cactus League
Oh yes, I remember why I'm not going to bet on Boston today. That Joe Ryan kid I mentioned is a magician with the ball. I have always been a Nick Pivetta too. I think that you are on the right side of the odds, it's just my belly is saying to lay off. Hope this one is on tv today.

Sac, I can see your point but I don't think that is the odds mover. People just seem to be betting favorites and home field without any handicapping. Ryan may be the greatest thing since Nolan Ryan but he hasn't proven a damn thing yet, and the BoSox are looking a lot better day after day, while the Rays are struggling, even when they do win, usually by narrow margins. 4-9 with a -11 run differential does not trip my trigger, however 7-5 and +14 makes my heart go pitty-pat at +$ odds. BOL

Should be a close game, way over priced. The A's should be a cool +110 here. I could see an argument for -105 to even.
@KeyElement
The Red Sox keep on hitting man. Lucky they pulled Ryan after one inning
On a serious note, let's keep an eye on this dude. He hides the ball like Zac Gallen, but in a different way. I just fear that the Rays will use him as an opener or a 4 inning guy when his time comes.
Anyone else feel my hate for the Rays yet?

Max Scherzer looks to be in mid season form. Him and Strasburg look awesome out of the gate. If anyone didn't know, Strasburg tweaked his calf on the mound yesterday. Not sure of the severity but something to keep an eye on. That dude has been snake bitten with injuries last couple years.
What was I thinking backing Tyler Anderson on the run line??
Looking at 2 more, Have a good day Gents

Boolsheet comment. Whether he goes 2 or 4 or 7 you still have no way of knowing how that effects the outcome. If they leave him in it DOES NOT mean the BoSox lose. Maybe the Rays are LUCKY they pulled him.

Dylan Cease makes his first spring outing, so expect 1 maybe 2 innings and a whole lot of White Sox bullpen afterwards. Cease's best catcher last year was James McCann. He's gone, and he will throw to Jonathan Lucroy for the first time.
Yasmani Grandal has only 3 PA's this spring before tweaking his knee. They don't want him to catch yet with a knee problem. He'll DH. That's 2 guys starting today who are rusty as can be. The pitcher and DH. And we have zero chemistry from the battery.
Alec Mills is a kid who has had a tough time in years past throwing glove side to left handed hitters. He has looked to have improved that part of his game this this spring(eye test). He gets Contreras behind the dish who he's comfortable with, and facing 4 lefties from the Sox who have hit .239 collectively this spring.
Cease is also facing 4 lefties from the Cubs. Those 4 have collectively hit .363 this spring. Cease in his career has given up a .271 BA and .895 OPS to left handed hitters. Remember when I said that Cease keeps the ball down and works only the bottom half of the strike zone? For those of you guys who know baseball more than others, lefties LOVE the ball down(in general). He tends to find barrels more often than not. If I could do a prop in this game I think Joc Pederson has a chance to go yard today. That dude has been raking.
*Disclaimer* I don't know if Craig Kimbrel is scheduled to pitch today. If he does, clinch your cheeks hard. I know I will.
Who set these odds? The Cubs should be favored imo.
